Jakarta, 20 October 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (IDX: BBCA) and its subsidiaries recorded an increase in total loans by 7.6% YoY to Rp944 trillion in September 2025. This growth was underpinned by quality loan expansion, supported by the company’s solid liquidity position. Total third-party funds rose 7.0% YoY driven by current and savings account (CASA) as BCA’s main source of funding. Net profit of BCA and its subsidiaries grew by 5.7% YoY, reaching Rp43.4 trillion in the first nine months of 2025.
“Loan disbursements across various segments and sectors up to September 2025 reflects our commitment to supporting national economic growth. The extended BCA Expo 2025, scheduled to continue until October 31, demonstrates our efforts to boost financing while providing added value to the community. The BCA UMKM Fest 2025 successfully reached over 1,700 MSMEs, reinforcing BCA’s role in advancing business development across enterprises of all sizes. Meanwhile, the BCA Wealth Summit 2025 attracted more than 4.5 million hybrid visitors, underscoring our commitment to educating customers and the public on smarter financial management. Furthermore, through our subsidiary BCA Syariah, we offer iB gold financing for customers who wish to own gold with price certainty, affordable installments, and in accordance with sharia principles. As of September 2025, iB gold financing at BCA Syariah has grown by 161.2% YoY,” according to President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Hendra Lembong.
Corporate loans became the highest-growing segment, rising by 10.4% YoY to reach Rp436.9 trillion in September 2025. Commercial loans grew 5.7% YoY to Rp142.9 trillion, and SME loans expanded by 7.7% YoY to Rp129.3 trillion. Total consumer loan portfolio increased by 3.3% YoY to Rp223.6 trillion, supported by a 6.4% YoY growth in mortgages to Rp138.8 trillion. The growth in other consumer loans (majority in credit cards) grew 6.9% YoY to Rp23.5 trillion. BCA maintained strong loan quality, with the loan at risk (LAR) ratio improving to 5.5% in the third quarter of 2025 from 6.1% a year earlier. The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio was manageable at 2.1%. NPL and LAR provisions were adequate, at 166.6% and 69.5% respectively.
Sustainable finance portfolio grew by 12.7% YoY, reaching Rp241 trillion as of September 2025, equivalent to 25.5% of total loans. BCA remains committed to the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, including through sustainable waste management at BCA Expo 2025. During the three-day event, BCA introduced the Bakti BCA Recycling Machine for processing plastic bottles, supported by Waste Educators and Waste Stations to streamline waste sorting. This initiative is estimated to reduce potential carbon emissions by approximately 18.1 tons of CO₂.
On the funding side, CASA continued to be BCA’s primary source of funding, accounting for approximately 83.8% of total third-party funds. CASA grew by 9.1% to reach Rp999 trillion, in line with BCA’s total transaction frequency, which increased by 78% over the past three years.
BCA continues to enhance the myBCA app to provide an optimal banking experience for its customers. Users can now manage and receive One-Time Passwords (OTP) for online transactions directly within the app. The myBCA Keyboard feature offers a more convenient way to conduct transactions, while instant access and the main menu can now be personalized. Additionally, the Forex Pocket menu now includes the United Arab Emirates Dirham, increasing the total number of supported foreign currencies to 18.
“BCA remains committed to advancing QRIS Cross Border technology across multiple countries. This feature is now available for use in Japan through the myBCA app. The rollout of these new features and services reflects ongoing efforts to expand product and service offerings in response to changing customer needs. We also announced the main prize winners of the Gebyar Hadiah BCA for the period from April 15 to July 31. This program is intended to express our appreciation for the trust and loyalty of BCA customers, thereby further enhancing our relationship with our valued clients,” stated Hendra Lembong.
The Genera-Z Berbakti program by Bakti BCA has officially concluded after receiving over 250 proposals from 98 universities nationwide. Four winning teams from Universitas Indonesia (UI), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Lampung (Unila), and Universitas Sam Ratulangi (Unsrat) submitted impactful community service reports, showcasing initiatives such as an IoT-based tsunami detection system and a localized rainfall measurement tool. These projects were implemented over one month at Bakti BCA’s assisted tourism villages (Desa Wisata Bakti BCA), including Wonokitri, East Java (UI); Dayun, Riau (UGM); Kiluan, Lampung (Unila); and Derawan, East Kalimantan (Unsrat). Bakti BCA also participated in the Kawan Nusantara exhibitions by local jewelry brand TULOLA in Jakarta and Bali, featuring collections crafted by silver artisans from Taro Tourism Village, Bali. This year, the artisans’ revenue nearly doubled compared to the previous year. Bakti BCA also hosted the Bakti BCA’s MSME and Assisted Village Coordination Meeting, attended by approximately 150 entrepreneurs and local village champions from diverse regions across Indonesia. In education, the Bakti BCA Scholarship (Beasiswa Bakti BCA), which has benefited over 8,500 recipients to date, continues to support students’ academic and personal growth. In healthcare, Bakti BCA’s free cataract surgery program has provided life-changing treatment to nearly 10,000 individuals across 21 provinces, including underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions (3T). Recent surgeries were conducted in East Halmahera, Kapuas, and Bengkulu. For environmental conservation, Bakti BCA inaugurated a turtle conservation facility and released hatchlings at Goa Cemara Beach, Yogyakarta. To date, nearly 65,000 hatchlings have been released, and over 1,000 nests have been relocated across three conservation sites.
