Celebrating the TULOLA 2025 Collection: 'Reflections of Light' A Collaboration by Desa Bakti BCA (Desa Taro) and Reza Rahadian

Jakarta, 1 December 2025 – TULOLA celebrated its creative journey throughout 2025 with a celebration titled “REFLECTIONS OF LIGHT” on 28-29 November 2025 at The Dharmawangsa Hotel, Jakarta. The event featured two significant collaborations: Heroes of Heritage with the Taro Tourism Village —a Bakti BCA-assisted village, and the launch of the special collection “REZA DALAM DUA DASARASA” with actor Reza Rahadian. This event marks a significant milestone for TULOLA, showcasing works that are not only elegant and beautiful, but also rich in meaning, identity, and the traces of a creative journey that intersects with the values of Indonesian cultural heritage.

Happy Salma, the Co-Founder and Creative Director of TULOLA said, “Reflections of Light is a celebration of creativity for us, reflecting the cultural heritage, collaboration and individuals who bring art to life. Through the work of the Taro artisans and Reza's twenty years of creativity, we celebrate the light born of perseverance, patience, and dedication.”

Heroes of Heritage is an initiative launched in 2023 by Happy Salma and Sri Luce-Rusna to honour cultural heroes–particularly Balinese artisans who have mastered the traditional art of making jewellery based on communal motifs.

This celebration also introduces TULOLA's latest collaboration collection with actor Reza Rahadian, titled "REZA DALAM DUA DASARASA". This collection is the first TULOLA’s unisex line and marks two decades of Reza's career in the Indonesian entertainment industry, as well as representing his identity and personal transformation. The collaboration collection tells the story of an endless search for identity, inspired by the variety of tastes he has explored without losing his roots.

Sri Luce-Rusna, the Founder and Creative Designer of TULOLA said, “The motifs in this collection are inspired by the TULOLA archive, a design database that combines vintage shapes with symbolism reflecting depth of feeling and inner journey. Each piece is designed as a medium for reflection: on light, on shadow, and on the balance of two fundamental feelings—the forces that shape someone's creative journey.”

In this collaboration, TULOLA and the Taro artisans present a collection of brooches with the theme of IDENTITY, a series of motifs representing hundreds of traditional Balinese symbols, including: Patra Bali (beauty and harmony); Mandala (balance and harmony); Sampian (generosity and sincerity); Karang Daun (connection between humans and nature); and Lembu (prosperity and the well-being of the Taro village).

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA), through its social initiative Bakti BCA, has collaborated with TULOLA Jewelry and two silversmithing masters from the Taro Tourism Village in Bali: I Made Suama and I Made Arsanata. These two artists have been working in the jewellery industry for a long time, including the creation of pratima (sacred objects), which reflects the depth of aesthetic and spiritual values in Bali.

In addition to showcasing jewellery, I Made Arsanata is also presenting an extraordinary keris, passed down from the Majapahit era, which has been adorned with 23-carat gold and select rubies. This piece uses around 175 grams of gold, with the gold materials alone valued at Rp385 million. The presence of the keris not only highlights I Made Arsanata’s expertise in working with precious metals, but also demonstrates the high value of cultural heritage that is continually preserved by the Taro artisans through collaboration with Bakti BCA.

Hera F. Haryn, BCA EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility said, “At BCA, we are honoured to be collaborating with TULOLA again to create works that transcend mere aesthetics and have a broader impact on society. Together with TULOLA, BCA, through Bakti BCA, is committed to ensuring that knowledge, skills, and local cultural heritage continue to thrive and be passed on through the hands of Indonesia's master artisans. This collection showcases the work of artisans from Taro Tourism Village, proving that local talent has a prominent place in the national creative landscape.”

As part of the celebrations, BCA is offering special deals exclusively to its loyal customers. During the event, customers can enjoy discounts of 20% on products in the Signature category, 15% on products in the Artwear category, and 10% on products in the New Collection category. Not only that, BCA credit card and debit card customers also receive an additional 5% discount for every purchase of TULOLA products, as well as 0% installment facilities specifically for transactions using BCA credit cards.

The Heroes of Heritage collaboration is a tangible manifestation of Bakti BCA's commitment to preserving Indonesian traditions through the empowerment of individuals, communities, and cultural ecosystems. The Bakti BCA Village development program not only increases the income of artisans, but also maintains the quality of culture-based products and services. The collaboration with TULOLA is one of the strategic programs to strengthen the role of local artisans in the national creative industry.
