Jakarta, 31 October 2019 – In the midst of technological developments and the emergence of new competitors from a financial perspective or often known as fintech, solid foundations and corporate governance are needed to gain public trust, especially to stakeholders who are directly related to the company. On the other hand, as a banking industry, it is important to pay attention to the quality in terms of services provided by the company's human resources and the products offered to contribute to the creation of a healthy and stable national financial ecosystem through strategic steps in accordance with regulations, provisions, and business ethics.
This was conveyed by the President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) Jahja Setiaatmadja as one of the speakers at the 2019 CEO Networking forum themed "Embracing the Opportunities in the Dynamic Global Economy" in the series of the 42nd Anniversary of the Indonesian Capital Market for CEOs from Stakeholders in Indonesian Capital Market in Jakarta, on Thursday (31/10). The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Sri Mulyani, Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo, Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners Wimboh Santoso, and President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Inarno Djayadi were also present at this event.
The Financial Services Authority (OJK), PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) held the 2019 CEO Networking event for CEOs from Stakeholders in the Indonesian Capital Market. This seminar is expected to increase the competence and insight (horizon) of CEOs from Capital Market Stakeholders to be able to synergize in anticipating the potential for an economic slowdown that has an impact on the business climate in Indonesia.
BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja explained the 'Success Story' material at the 2019 CEO Networking forum with the theme "Embracing the Opportunities in Dynamic Global Economy". Jahja Setiaatmadja discussed the company's growth by implementing Good Corporate Governance, strategies for improving the quality of company services, developing reliable human resources, and continuing technological innovation in the midst of competition between banks.
Jahja explained, in the era of smart technology as it is today, innovation is needed to produce various service solutions towards digital. This can be done by encouraging development and empowerment both in the physical and the existing human resources aspect. "Digital transformation is important to continue to do in order to accommodate the needs of customers and the community, especially the millennial generation in the current digital era. Therefore, BCA presents digital products such as internet and mobile banking, and various applications, features, non-cash payment tools, including Flazz BCA, Sakuku, and features such as QRku, OneKlik BCA, BCA Keyboard, Open Account Online, to the Cardless feature on BCA mobile," added Jahja.
To optimize the contact center, BCA also presents Halo BCA which has been integrated with digital applications such as BCA Webchat and BCA Whatsapp. The transformation carried out by BCA towards Halo BCA has changed its orientation from being a contact center to a center of digital. On the other hand, BCA consistently builds a culture of learning to form agile management and employees and able to adapt to changes in the current business environment.
