Majene, 19 January 2021 – Through the Bakti BCA’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, BCA distributes aid to earthquake affected communities in Majene and Mamuju, West Sulawesi, which occurred on last Friday, 15 January 2021.
At the time of, BCA has distributed relief package consisted of daily necessities such as medicines, supplements, tent and personal protective equipment. Through the National Armed Forces (TNI), BCA which was represented by the Head of KCU BCA Makassar, Tony Djajasaputra, submitted the relief package to a TNI representative, Lieutenant Colonel Baharudin Kharisma on Tuesday 19 January 2021, in Makassar.
“On behalf of the entire family of BCA, we express our sincerest sympathy and condolences on this devastating earthquake that hit Majene and Mamuju, West Sulawesi. As fellow countrymen, it is our duty to help each other. We hope that this aid can help ease the burden on the affected communities,” said Tony, Head of KCU BCA Makassar.
“Our highest appreciation also goes to TNI and fellow journalists who helped distribute first phase relief package alongside BCA. May they find strength to bear the loss and could quickly recover and go back to their normal activities. We are also calling for the Indonesian public to pray for the victims of this disaster that they would find strength and fortitude in the face of the aftermath,” concluded Inge Setiawati, Executive Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility of BCA.
