Jakarta, 24 August 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to support the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through its Bakti BCA program. At BCA Expo 2025, held from 22–24 August at Hall 6, ICE BSD, Tangerang Regency, visitors can explore Desa Bakti BCA and a curated selection of partner MSMEs, including Precious One, Wastra Warna Alam, and other Bakti BCA-supported businesses.
Returning to the Expo this year is Precious One, an MSME that empowers persons with disabilities, through creative craftsmanship. Their product range includes bags, cable ties, wallets, finger puppets, shopping totes, paper dolls, and apparel.
Also featured are naturally dyed woven textiles produced by artisans nurtured under Bakti BCA’s guidance. In collaboration with Warna Alam Indonesia (Warlami), BCA has provided training in natural dyeing techniques to weaving groups and textile artisans in South Central Timor, the Baduy community, and East Sumba. This initiative aims to equip local artisans with the skills to produce sustainable, high-value textiles. New product lines debuting at the Expo include women’s handbags in various styles and men’s shirts made from handwoven fabrics.
Visitors can also take home distinctive creations from Desa Bakti BCA and its MSME partners, such as singkoling chips from Desa Wisata Hijau Bilebante, leather shadow puppets from Wisata Wayang Wukirsari, robusta coffee from Doesoen Kopi Sirap, and batik textiles from Kampung Batik Gemah Sumilir.
BCA Expo 2025 serves as a strategic platform to elevate the visibility of Bakti BCA MSMEs. As part of its broader commitment to expanding market access, BCA also showcases its MSME partners at other flagship events, including BCA Expoversary, UMKM Fest, Pagelaran Sabang Merauke, and the Indonesia Knowledge Forum.
“BCA remains committed to helping MSMEs scale up by offering support across branding, market access, and capacity building. Through BCA Expo 2025, we hope to enhance public awareness of the brands and products offered by our MSME partners and Desa Bakti BCA,” said Hera F. Haryn, EVP of Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility at BCA.
BCA’s dedication to strengthening Indonesia’s local industries is further reflected in the participation of 12 brands under its Bangga Lokal program. This exclusive initiative empowers local brands by providing resources and exposure to reach wider audiences.
The 12 Bangga Lokal brands featured at BCA Expo 2025 are: Shifting Room, Cottonink, Dippolar, HIBI, Attera, SVRG, Kanky, 02 Active, Sanga Sanga, Botanical Ess, HMNS, and Batik Chic.
