BCA-Supported MSMEs Record Rp110.9 Billion in Potential Exports After Trade Expo Indonesia 2025

Jakarta, 8 December 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs in entering the global market through the BCA UMKM Go Export program. Following the participation of 19 MSMEs fostered under Bakti BCA (UMKM Bakti BCA) at the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2025 last October, the company now announces the results achieved from the event.

Throughout the five-days TEI 2025 exhibition (15–19 October), a total of 185 business matching sessions were facilitated for the BCA-supported MSMEs. The event also successfully opened business networking opportunities across 33 destination countries, with potential export value reaching Rp110.9 billion. India, Malaysia, Australia, Bangladesh, and Singapore recorded the highest interest in Indonesian products from Bakti BCA–supported MSMEs. In terms of commodities, coffee, chocolate, and spices were the most sought-after products.

BCA Vice President Director John Kosasih expressed his pride and gratitude for the vast potential of Indonesian MSMEs. John stated, “We believe that Indonesia’s MSMEs have tremendous potential to compete in global markets. Through the BCA UMKM Go Export program and participation in large- scale international events such as Trade Expo Indonesia 2025, we are grateful to accompany local entrepreneurs in exploring real export opportunities. We believe that the right collaboration and guidance are vital elements in opening the door to the professional world for Indonesian MSMEs.”

Several BCA-supported MSMEs also succeeded in securing trade agreements (Memorandum of Understanding/MoUs) with buyers from various countries, recording total export values of more than Rp12.4 billion. The MSMEs that obtained export deals showcased products such as edamame, onions, coconut sugar, coffee, and spices. The export destinations included Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

BCA’s participation in TEI 2025 is a continuation of the BCA Go Export MSME Incubation Program, one of Bakti BCA’s flagship initiatives focused on enhancing business capacity and expanding access to global markets. In addition to this program, Bakti BCA also actively supports MSMEs through training sessions and the facilitation of halal certification. Between 2023 and 2024, more than 3,000 halal certificates were issued. In 2025, Bakti BCA targets an additional 2,000 certifications to further strengthen MSMEs' competitiveness.

“We hope these achievements serve not only as a momentary milestone but as a launching point for more Indonesian MSMEs to confidently step into export markets. BCA will continue to accompany their journey, ensuring that every step is supported by proper development, relevant market access, and a spirit of sustainable collaboration,” concluded John Kosasih.
