Together with Desa Wisata Institute, BCA is holding a virtual webinar for Bakti BCA Assisted Villages called “Strategies for Tourism Villages Post-Covid-19 Pandemic" via Cisco Webex. The program featured two speakers namely Destha Titi Raharjana as an Active Community Tourism activist at Puspa UGM and Hannif Andy Al Anshori as a Digital Marketing Manager Eticon as well as a mentor for Desa Wisata Institute moderated by Jeky Norton Mahieu, CSR representative of Bakti BCA.
Also attending the webinar was Executive Vice President of CSR of BCA Inge Setiawati at the opening session on Thursday, (16/07). “During the Covid-19 pandemic, many sectors have certainly been affected, including the Bakti BCA Assisted Villages. To that end, we are trying to assist a total of 12 assisted villages in Sumatra, Java and Bali. The webinar activity intended for all Assisted Village administrators is directly facilitated by Bakti BCA starting from July until November 2020,” said Inge.
The topics of the discussion include insights on the new normal, how to boost creativity of tourism villages during a pandemic, and various ways to hone capabilities to promote tourism villages to be a leading tourist destination and still have an attractive appeal in the new normal era. Before the pandemic outbreak, BCA had proactively organized several training activities for the administrators of the tourism villages in various regions.
“Through this Tourism Village strategy webinar, we hope that the assisted villages, especially the BCA management, can be better prepared in facing challenges in the new normal era. We will always monitor and support the development of tourism in Indonesia,” Inge concluded.
