This time, at an event initiated by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC), BCA won the 2018 ASEAN Business Award for the Priority Integration Sectors for its dedication to serve the needs of the Indonesian people of financial products and services for more than 61 years.
Executive Vice President of Human Capital Management of BCA Hendra Tanumihardja attended the event to receive the award submitted directly by the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Bin Mohamad at the awards ceremomy in Singapore, Monday (12/11). On the occasion, Hendra said that the success of BCA in becoming a banking institution, with its world-acclaimed achievements, is a result of its solid performance. "Amid the highly competitive financial industry today, the entire management of BCA is working together to fulfil its commitment to provide the best service for the customers and stakeholders byconstantly innovating and priotizing service quality,” explained Hendra.
The ASEAN Business Award by ASEAN BAC has been held since 2007. The objective of the event is to give an appreciation to companies of ASEAN member countries that have shown significant business results and progress, and strengthening their position across various industries. Therefore, the 12th ASEAN Business Award this year is an opportunity for companies to globally increase their public brand awareness and expand networks with the ASEAN business community.
There are 17 sub-categories of Priority Integration Sectors in the awarding, including the financial sector. This time, BCA succeeded to win the award as a result of its performance in integrating the aspects of business management and human resource management, as well as the company’s ability to adopt new data and information technology.
"In addition to prioritizing the integration of existing business management and HR management, we also strive to build sophisticated and innovative banking services that cater to customers’ needs in today’s digital era. We realize that technology is increasing relied upon to answer our various needs.
