Malang, 21 February 2018 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to provide its loyal customers with ease and convenience. Coinciding with the 61st anniversary of BCA, which falls on February 21, 2018, BCA inaugurates new Main Branch Office (KCU) Borobudur, Malang, East Java. Signing the inaugural inscription was Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono followed by ribbon-cutting ceremony which was carried out by Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono, Head of Regional Office VII Djoko Rosmiatun Mijaata, Malang District Secretary Wasto, Head of Regional Financial Services Authority (OJK) Malang Widodo, Head of Bank Indonesia (BI) Malang Dudi Herawadi, Malang Police Chief AKBP Asfuri, 0833th Military District of Malang City Nurul Yakin, and Head of BCA KCU Borobudur Liciana King, witnessed by the management and loyal customers of BCA.
Armand said, “Today, we are grateful for the inauguration of new KCU Borobudur office. We hope that the presence of our new office will provide BCA loyal customers with access to BCA banking services more easily and comfortably.”
Previously, BCA KCU Borobudur occupied four units of a 2-storey building. The growing number of customers and transactions has led to the need of a bigger bank office. “With the new office relocation to the new building with total floor area of ± 5.787 m² , located at Jl Terusan Borobudur I Mojolangu, Malang City, only ± 1 km away from the old building with a larger floor area, we hope that BCA can provide better and more comfortable service to the customers,” added Armand.
KCU Borobudur has 80 employees, consisting of Head of KCU, Head of Operations, Head of Branch Business Development, Head of Branch Internal Supervision, Chief Support Officer, Head of Service, Head of Priority Division, and staff. “BCA is grateful for the support given to make this new building inauguration a success. Hopefully, with this relocation, we can continue to improve the quality of banking services for our customers,” said Armand.
Malang is a bustling and growing city of various business fields such as education, hotels, tourism, malls, restaurants, trading and property. This has also resulted in improved banking performance, with an increase of Rp10.88 trillion or approximately 63.66% from Rp 17.09 trillion in 2012 to 27.97 trillion in October 2017. Credit realization also recorded an increase of Rp6.92 trillion or around 68.98%, from Rp10.03 trillion at the end of 2012 to Rp16.95 trillion in October 2017.
Currently in Malang, PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk has 11 Branch Offices viz KCU Borobudur, KCU Malang, KCP Blimbing, KCP Kawi, KCP Kudusan, KCP Dinoyo, KCP Galunggung, KCP Kyai Tamin, KCP Gatot Subroto, KCP Sudirman, KCP Sukun and 4 Cash Office, namely Cash Office Sawojajar, Cash Office Gadang, Cash Office Karangploso and Cash Office Universitas Brawijaya. “We hope that the presence of BCA in various locations in the city of Malang will help fulfill the banking transaction needs of the people of Malang,” Armand concluded.
