Jakarta, 17 April 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has once again received an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance as a Distribution Partner and Primary Dealer for Government Bonds (SUN). This time, BCA received three awards as the Primary Dealer of Government Bonds (SUN) in the category of Primary Dealer with the Best Performance in 2025 and one award as the Retail SUN Distribution Partner with the Best Performance in 2025.
The awards were presented directly by the Director of Government Bonds at the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, Novi Puspita Wardani, to BCA, represented by BCA Executive Vice President John Kosasih, at the Auditorium of the Frans Seda Building, Indonesian Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, on Thursday (2/4). Also present at the event were BCA Executive Vice President of Treasury Junita Gunawan and BCA Senior Vice President of Wealth Management Dessy Nathalia.
John Kosasih stated that this recognition serves as proof of BCA’s efforts to educate the public on safe investing. Furthermore, this award also highlights the contribution of BCA customers in supporting national development through government financing instruments, as well as their support for the development of the domestic financial market.
“This achievement demonstrates BCA’s commitment to strengthening its intermediary role in the financial market, while also supporting the government in maintaining efficient and sustainable financing. We will continue to encourage increased participation by domestic investors through the optimization of distribution channels and market education,” said John Kosasih.
Specifically, the four awards received by BCA on Thursday (2/4) are:
- Best-Performing Primary Dealer of Government Bonds in 2025
- Best-Performing Primary Dealer of Government Bonds in the Primary Market in 2025
- Best-Performing Primary Dealer of Government Bonds in the Secondary Market in 2025
- Best-Performing Retail Government Bond Distribution Partner of 2025
BCA has received awards from the Ministry of Finance over the past twelve years, including as a Leading Dealer or Best Government Bond Distribution Partner.
As one of the Primary Dealers for Government Bonds, BCA plays an active role in both the Primary and Secondary Markets, including in marketing and trading processes as well as providing liquidity in the Secondary Market. On the other hand, as a Retail Government Bond Distribution Partner, BCA contributes to expanding public access to investment in SBN instruments through digital platforms.
Through the myBCA and KlikBCA Individu apps, BCA facilitates end-to-end digital ordering of Government Bonds in the Primary Market, as well as transactions in the Secondary Market through its branch network and myBCA. This initiative aligns with the government’s efforts to enhance financial inclusion while deepening the domestic bond market.
By 2025, myBCA will become the channel of choice for the majority of retail investors, with the frequency of SBN transactions reaching over 80%. This is further supported by a year-over-year (YoY) increase in investors of more than 20%, with the majority being young investors (Millennials and Gen Z), whose numbers have grown by over 50% YoY. This achievement demonstrates that the ease of accessing government investment instruments through BCA’s service ecosystem can reach more young people to start investing.
This award further solidifies BCA’s position amid banking industry competition in SBN distribution, where technological optimization, a strong customer base, and treasury capabilities are key factors in improving performance.
