BCA in collaboration with PDAM Purwakarta, Pay Water Bills Easier Through BCA E-channel

Purwakarta, 16 December 2019 – Growing to become of the largest private banks in Indonesia, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to expand to various segments in order to cater the needs of its customers. BCA implemented its commitment by organizing a Cash Management solution program for Purwakarta Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) and providing ease of water bill payment through ATM BCA.

Attending the launching ceremony was Head of Main Branch Office of BCA Purwakarta Susiana Arifah, accompanied by Head of Business Development of BCA Purwakarta Praptomo Dwi Putro and Director of Finance of PDAM Purwakarta Kusman and President Director of PDAM Purwakarta Dadang Saputra in Purwakarta, Monday (16/12).

“As is known, PDAM PDAM Purwakarta is one of the most important institutions that supports the daily basic needs of water supply for the community. So, it is appropriate that we as a banking institution provide ease options in terms of fast, safe and convenient payment through ATM BCA,” said Susiana.

Susiana added that the current era of technological disruption has driven us to optimize various products and services by accommodating the increasingly dynamic needs of the people, including providing water bill payment facilities at BCA. 

The collaboration between BCA and PDAM Purwakarta is a collaboration to accommodate water bill payment via BCA e-channels, which is carried out in stages dimana untuk tahap awal telah diimplementasikan pada ATM BCA. At the ATM machine, the customer simply selects the Other Transactions, select Payment, select PAM, enter the PAM Code, enter Subscriber Number, Confirm payment, and done, transaction is successful.

Purwakarta is one of the growing regencies in West Java. And as the industry develops and the population grows, deman for ease of payment for daily needs. “This is why BCA helps provide ease to the people of Purwakarta in terms of PDAM bill payment. With BCA, everything is made simple,” added Susiana. 

In addition to provide ease and increase customer discipline in paying PDAM water bill, the collaboration is also expected to continue BCA’s contribution to the Government regarding the support towards Non-Cash National Movement – Gerakan Nasional Non Tunai (GNNT). “This collaboration is a strategic step for BCA and PDAM Purwakarta to support government programs in realizing non-cash society in Indonesia through the GNNT pogram initiated by Bank Indonesia (BI). We hope that going forward, the people of Purwakarta would know and could pay their water bill easier, more efficient, and more effective through Bca e-channel, in the long run,” Susiana concluded.
