Sea Turtle Conservation

Preserving sea turtles for the balance of Indonesia's marine ecosystems

Maintaining The Marine Ecosystem

Supporting the Government, BCA together with BSTF and WWF have been actively taking action to conserve sea turtles since 2015. From 2015 - 2023, BCA has supported the release of 24.050 hatchlings, relocated 400 sea turtle egg nests, and planted 300 sea pandanus as beach vegetation plants.

BCA has also educated more than 900 students and 250 fishermen on the urgency of sea turtle conservation since 2015, in collaboration with the government and other parties. These efforts have been made to maintain the survival of sea turtles, of which there are only 7 species left in the world.
