Jakarta, 3 June 2016 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to fulfill its commitment to develop human resources, an important factor to streghten its position as the leading banking institution in Indonesia. BCA’s commitment is widely recognized as it was named Platinum Champion in the Financial Institution category at Indonesian Best Companies in Creating Leaders from Within, held by Majalah SWA and NBO Indonesia. BCA Human Capital Strategy & Solutions Chief Manager Houda Muljanti was present to receive the award in Jakarta (03/06).

This is the second Creating Leaders from Within Award. The award recognizes the best companies in Indonesia with successful leadership development programs that produce future leaders from within the company itself. This year, 17 finalists from various industries, such as banking, insurance, property, and manufacturing, were selected.
The companies that are qualified to participate in the competition are companies with a minimum asset worth Rp 100 billion, and have implemented a Leadership Development Program for a minimum of three years. BCA received a score of 87.34 based on jury evaluation, which included categories in vision, mission, frameworks, leadership development program, program implementation and execution, character of leaders produced, and their impact on business performance.
Solid leadership regeneration at BCA is reflected in the composition of BCA top management. Presently, has appointed five directors to their positions from within the company. Meanwhile, 43 of 44 senior management came from BCA’s internal line up.
