Jakarta, 16 December 2025 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) reaffirmed its commitment to empowering Indonesian youth to excel on the international stage. At the 2025 SEA Games Thailand, BCA extended its full support to the dedication of young Indonesian swimming athlete Liquor Harrison Andoko, a Bakti BCA student-athlete scholarship recipient, who represented Indonesia Team to bring the nation’s pride.
At the Southeast Asia multi-sport event, Liquor Harrison Andoko and his teammates successfully set a new national record in the men’s 4×200m Freestyle Relay. Competing alongside Made Aubrey Jaya, M. Akbar Putra Taufik, and Nicholas Karel Subagyo, Liquor recorded a time of 7:27.17, surpassing the previous national record that had stood for three years since 2022. The record-breaking took place at the Swimming Pool of the Sports Authority of Thailand, Bangkok, Thursday (11/12).

This support goes beyond scholarships, reflecting BCA’s commitment to providing opportunities for Indonesian youth to develop their full potential in both academics and sports. We hope Liquor will continue to inspire young Indonesians to dream big and excel on the international level.”

His participation marked an important milestone in his athletic journey while also reflecting BCA’s continued commitment to supporting high-achieving young Indonesians. Through the Bakti BCA, BCA believes that with dedication and perseverance, Liquor has the potential to emerge as one of Indonesia’s proud representatives in international sports and inspire Indonesian youth to pursue excellence and uphold the nation’s pride.
“I came to the 2025 SEA Games Thailand with a strong determination to deliver the best results for Indonesia. Every training session and competition is an opportunity to prove myself while sharpening my skills toward bigger goals in the future. I am deeply grateful for the full support from BCA through the Bakti BCA, which has given me the opportunity to pursue my education while building my career as an athlete. This support has become an additional source of motivation for me to keep striving, bring pride to the nation, and inspire Indonesian youth,” said Liquor.
Through the Bakti BCA program, BCA provides a student-athlete scholarship to Liquor, covering education expenses, living costs, books, and other essential needs. This support enables Liquor to maximize his potential by competing in national and international swimming events while pursuing his studies at the University of Indianapolis in the United States and further developing his athletic career in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), one of the official pathways to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. The collaboration with PB Aquatic Indonesia underscores the continuity of #BuktiBaktiBCA commitment to improving the quality of education in Indonesia, in line with the priorities of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Quality Education.
Beyond its support for student-athletes, Bakti BCA continues to strengthen education and capacity building through several flagship initiatives, including Bakti BCA Schools (Sekolah Bakti BCA), BCA Berbagi Ilmu, Bakti BCA Scholarship, Financial Literacy, Bakti BCA Internship Program, Business & Banking Education Program, Informatics Engineering Education Program, and Bakti BCA’s makeup training and coaching program for people with hearing disabilities (MUA Tuli Bakti BCA).
