BCA Holds Communication and Leadership Skills Training for 30 Pentingsari Tourism Village Administrators

Yogyakarta, 28 July 2018 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) comntinues to support the development and improvement of human rescources quality in Indonesia. The commitment is implemented through its Prime Business Solution program by organizing a Communication and Leadership Skills Training for the Administrators of Pentingsari Tourism Village, given to approximately 30 participants under the theme of Building a Spirit of Togetherness.

Attending to open the event was Head of BCA’s Main Branch Office (KCU) Yogyakarta Saswito and Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of BCA Ira Bachtar at Hotel Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Saturday (28/07). “We initiated the training with the aim of providing knowledge and efficient communication skills for the administators of Pentingsari village so as to be able to lead a team solidly as well as to equip the leaders to be able to serve the community and groups of tourists affably,” explained Saswito. The program was carried out for two consecutive days, from July, 28th to July 29th, 2018. 

Communication and leadership skills training for the members of Pentingsari Tourism Village was held with the aim of regenerating management in the said village as well as as form of BCA’s corporate social responsibility participation to help develop businesses within a community or tourism villages in enhancing prosperity of the local community. The leadership training was held on the basis of the importance of developing the quality of human resource as one of the major factors contributing to successful tourism development.

“BCA is aware that human resource is a key driver of economic growth, which in this case is a major asset for the further development of the tourism villages.  Therefore, BCA initiated a training program as one of the means to further enrich the knowledge and compentency of each individual in Pentingsari Tourism Village in order to be able to communicate assertively in meeting their common interests,” added Saswito.

Previously, BCA had been actively conducting several training programs to equip the village administrators, such as Leadership Training for the Administrators of BCA’s Fostered Tourism Village in Sentul, Bogor, Service Excellence Training for the Administrators of Goa Pindul Tourism Village, Pentingsari, Wukirsari, Tamansari, Tinggan-Bali Tourism Village, Belitung, and Dusun Kopi Sirap–Gunung Kelir. In addition to that, BCA also organized Online Marketing Training, Leadership Training, Team Building Training, Benchmarking Training, and Serivce Standardization Guidance at Pentingsari, Tamansari, Wirawisata, and Creative Selling SkillTraining for all BCA’s fostered tourism villages.
