Bogor, 25 July 2018 – Today, Wednesday (25/7), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) received a visit from some 13 international delegations who participated in the ‘Multicountry Observational Study Mission on Labor Management Relation’ forum at BCA Learning Institute (BLI), Sentul.
Attending the benchmarking event was Executive Vice President of Learning & Development of BCA Lena Setiawati, Executive Vice President of Human Capital Management of BCA Hendra Tanumihardja, and attended separately through a video conference was the Director of BCA Lianawaty Suwono. Also attending the event was Directorate of Productivity Development Director of the Ministry of Manpower Muhammad Zuhri and Director of Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Jun-Ho Kim. The event was organized by Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in collaboration with the Directorate of Productivity Development, Directorate General of Training and Productivity Development, and the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
In connection with the benchmarking program, the delegates of the ‘Multicountry Observational Study Mission on Labor Management Relation’ forum talked about the implementation of industrial relation strategies and the development of BCA’s human resources. In addition, the delegates were also invited to tour the various facilities available at BCA Learning Institute, including myBCA digital banking and Galeri BCA.
Lianawaty said, as an institution in banking industry, employees are the integral part and the spearhead of the company’s growth and development. Therefore, the nature of relationship between a company and its employees is complimentary, in building the dynamics of relationship that are productive, competitive, and provide value added for all stakeholders.
In addressing this, through the BCA Learning Institute (BLI), each employee is seen as a valuable asset who is always encouraged to grow and develop in meeting today’s demands, both in providing service excellence, personal development, as well as improving life, etc.

In his presentation, Executive Vice President of Human Capital Management Hendra Tanumihardja explained the importance of industrial relation in supporting the company’s long-term growth. "Building harmonious industrial relations is indispensable, especially in improving working conditions, productivity, competitiveness, and quality of work to allow a company to have a sustainable growth," explained Hendra.
