BCA Holds Service Standard Refreshment Training for Tour Guides of Goa Pindul Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta, 20 November 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues its commitment in developing potentials and improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia.  Its commitment was implemented through the Excellent Business Solution program by holding a service standard refreshment training for tour guides in Goa Pindul, Yogyakarta. The training was given to 26 tour guides.

Attending to open the event was Head of Branch Operations of KCU Yogyakarta Agustin, Wednesday (20/11) in Yogyakarta. Also attending was Ari Purnawan, Head of Goa Pindul. Approximately 26 participants were enthusiastic about the training which was led by Putu Ayu Novita as a keynote speaker. The program was held for two consecutive days, 20-21 November 2019, at Eastparc Hotel. 

“We realize that this training is necessary as a refreshment and a platform of new knowledge and insights for the BCA’s assisted village operators, including tourism villages in Yogyakarta. Through this initiative, BCA hopes to create standards for the 26 participants in providing service to both domestic and foreign visitors,” explained Agustin. 

The service standard training is intended for the operators of BCA’s assisted tourism villages so they may understand the roles and responsibilities of every party involved in strengthening the service chain to support customer satisfaction and success of the village as well as strengthening the tour guides’ commitment and consistency. The training was also aimed to accommodate BCA’s social responsibility role to help develop business in the community and tourism villages that can contribute to the welfare of the people. 

“As a firmly established institution supported by its human resources, BCA is aware of the power of human resources as a key asset. Therefore, we are driven and strive to develop BCA’s assisted villages through quality human resources in order to advance the said villages. But more than that, we believe that with such assurance, Yogyakarta tourism will be better known and, eventually, globally recognized,” Agustin concluded. 

Through the Excellent Business Solution, the Bakti BCA’s CSR program facilitates the HR development activities for the Goa Pindul Community through Service Standard Refreshment Training, Service Excellence Training, Digital Marketing Training, donation for pendopo construction, donation for the construction of outbond facility, gamelan donation, donation for PAUD school construction, tubing equipments, life jackets, toilet, mushola, etc.
