Belitung, 29 April 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk., through its Bakti BCA program, has once again organized a training for tour guides at Bukit Peramun tourism village, Belitung. The training is aimed at enhancing tourists’ comfort while enjoying the hotspots at the village.
Twenty enthused tour guides from Bukit Peramun Tourism Village joined the training program. Attending to open the program was Vice President of CSR of BCA Ira Bachtar, accompanied by Head of BCA Operational Branch Office Tanjung Pandan Belitung Erdyan Prawira and Head of Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Belitung Regency Hermanto, Monday (29/04). The program was held for two consecutive days, 29 - 30 April 2019.
“It is important to continuously upgrade knowledge, comprehension and skills in order to improve one’s talent and expertise. Therefore, today, BCA is organizing another training program for tour guides from Bukit Peramun Tourism Village, Belitung.”
This standard service training is held to equip the tour guides with standardized mindset, knowledge, skills and attitude in order to optimize and maximize the service they provide. In addition to that, these tour guides also play a role in providing an unforgettable visitor experience so as to achieve overall customer satisfaction.
“Since 2008, BCA has been conducting training programs at Bukit Peramun village in Belitung. We conduct various training and coaching program to hone the skills of the villagers especially tour guides in order to maximize their potentials to provide the best service to visitors or tourists. As of now, there are hundreds of thousands of visitors visiting a number of tourist hotspots at Bukit Peramun Belitung,” added Ira.
Previously, BCA had actively organized several training programs for the village administrators such as Leadership Training for BCA’s Assisted Tourism Villages in Sentul, Bogor, Service Excellence Training for administrators of Goa Pindul Village, Pentingsari Tourism Village, Wukirsari Wayang Village, Tamansari Tourism Village, Tinggan-Bali Tourism Village, Belitung, and Dusun Kopi Sirap–Gunung Kelir. Besides, BCA had also held Online Marketing Training, Leadership Training, Team Building Training, Benchmarking, Service Standardization Development and also Creative Selling Skill Training at all BCA Assisted Tourism Villages as well as one day tour service for all BCA Tanjung Pandan’s employees at Bukit Peramun village.

Twenty enthused tour guides from Bukit Peramun village, Belitung, joined the training program. Under the Excellence Business Solution pillar, the Bank BCA’s CSR program organized a training which aimed at providing the tour guides with standardized mindset, knowledge, skills and attitude in order to maximize and optimize the service they provide. This training is expected to increase customer satisfaction that, in turn, will allow tourists destinations in Belitung to develop.
