BCA always strives to have a positive impact on the environment by improving the carrying capacity of ecosystems and protecting flora and fauna species. One of them is by rehabilitating critical land in several areas.
In 2023, BCA planted 54.500 Multipurpose Tree Species (MPTS) trees in Lampung and Bali to rehabilitate critical land.
BCA also planted 5.500 mangrove seedlings in West Sumbawa, NTB, to maintain the ecosystem in coastal areas.
Every tree that is planted by BCA is monitored to determine their condition and total carbon sequestration.
