BCA plays an active role in conducting various efforts to preserve forest as well as improving the critical land in several areas.

Critical Land Rehabilitations

Working on with The Ministry of Environment and farmer groups, BCA reforests critical land in several areas in Indonesia.

Tree Planting Monitoring

BCA with partner (Jejakin) monitor the carbon sequestration of the trees that have been planted before.

Mangrove Planting

BCA planted mangrove seedlings to help reforest and prevent an abrasion in several coaster areas in Indonesia.

Reforesting Nature

BCA always strives to have a positive impact on the environment by improving the carrying capacity of ecosystems and protecting flora and fauna species. One of them is by rehabilitating critical land in several areas.

In 2023, BCA planted 54,500 Multipurpose Tree Species (MPTS) trees in Lampung and Bali to rehabilitate critical land.

BCA also planted 5,500 mangrove seedlings in West Sumbawa, NTB, to maintain the ecosystem in coastal areas.

Every tree that is planted by BCA is monitored to determine their condition and total carbon sequestration.
