myBCA App Becomes Gen Z's "Top of Mind" for Mobile Banking, BCA Thanks All Customers

Jakarta, 23 May 2024 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to innovate to serve the diverse needs of customers in various segments. As a result of these efforts, BCA received a number of awards at the Marketeers Youth Choice Award 2024. The myBCA application, which is one of the forefronts of BCA's mobile banking solutions, won Gold predicate in the Banking Mobile Apps category.

Marketeers Youth Choice Award is an annual award given to various brands favoured by Indonesian youth. Reporting on the official Marketeers website, the survey was conducted to more than 2,000 Gen Z consisting of high school, university students, and fresh graduate workers. The survey was conducted online in Jabodetabek, Serang, Bandung, Malang, Madura, Padang, Surabaya, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Medan, Lampung and Sumba.

BCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said, "We present myBCA as an integrated service application of the future. Since its launch in 2021, we are grateful that myBCA is now top of mind among Gen Z for mobile banking applications. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our beloved customers, the support of all stakeholders, and the hard work of BCA people across the country."

With the myBCA application, customers only need a single user ID (BCA ID) to access all account information they have with BCA, from savings, deposits, investments, credit cards, consumer loans, to BCA rewards. Throughout 2023, BCA has added a number of features to improve the convenience of customer transactions. These include debit and credit card control, biometric login, ease of investing through the Welma feature, vehicle and electricity tax payments, QRIS Customer Presented Mode, and BCA Paylater.

Recently, myBCA application has been equipped with QRIS Transfer, QRIS cross border, instant access to QRIS payments, converting credit card transactions into BCA installments, bill payments and PLN token purchases, and OneKlik account activation and settings.

BCA Wins Three Other Awards

In addition to the myBCA application, BCA's Tahapan Xpresi product was also awarded Gold in the Saving Account category. Not only that, Flazz won an award in the E-money category with a Silver predicate. BCA was also selected as a Dream Workplace by Gen Z with a Silver predicate.

"We hope that this award will motivate us to continue to ensure that our transaction banking platform is secure and reliable, as well as a relevant solution for our customers' needs, so that we can continue to increase the number of transactions and expand BCA's customer base," concluded Jahja.

Tahapan Xpresi developed from the Tahapan product, a savings product prioritized for young people. With Tahapan Xpresi, young BCA customers can choose from more than 50 card designs to "Xpresi" themselves in a unique and different way. The minimum initial deposit to open Tahapan Xpresi is also low, at a minimum of Rp50,000, consisting of Rp25,000 as initial deposit and Rp25,000 as card printing fee. Flazz is a multifunctional transaction card with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip technology that facilitates and accelerates cashless payment processes. As of March 2024, there are more than 26 million Flazz cards circulating in the community. The public can now more easily and conveniently use Flazz, after the presence of Flazz Gen 2 with a new logo (there is an icon like wifi) which can be recharged via myBCA and BCA mobile anytime and anywhere.
