Welcoming Eid Al-Fitr 2024, BCA Prepares Up to Rp68.80 Trillion in Cash

 

Jakarta, 19 March 2024 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) ensures the availability of Rp68.80 trillion cash to fulfill the public’s demand during the period from Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr 2024, or from 25 March to 16 April 2024. The realized amount of cash availability increased by 7% as the public consumption activities are projected to increase from the 2023 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period.

In addition to the availability of cash, BCA also ensures the customers’ needs to exchange money are fulfilled. In the Jabodetabek area, BCA is ready to facilitate customers with money exchange services through:

  • 39 Main Branch Offices (KCU) in Jabodebek from 1 – 5 April 2024
  • One mobile cash car in the Istora Senayan area from 28 – 31 March 2024
  • KM 57 Rest Area Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road from 2 – 5 April 2024.

As for branches outside the Jabodetabek area, the Small Notes (UPK) exchange service adjusts to the availability at the branch.

"We hope that BCA's preparation in fulfilling cash needs during Ramadan can contribute positively to the circulation of money in the community and national economic growth," said President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, Jahja Setiaatmadja.

Not only an increase in cash transactions, BCA also projected an increase in the number of transactions on BCA's digital channels. Therefore, BCA ensures customers can enjoy BCA banking services anywhere and anytime through the myBCA application, BCA mobile, internet banking (KlikBCA), and BCA ATMs.

"Nowadays, banking from anywhere has become a standard in banking services. We remain committed to providing a reliable banking transaction platform so that customers can transact safely and comfortably in the holy month of Ramadan this year," added Jahja Setiaatmadja.

During Ramadan, BCA also adjusts the operating hours of branch offices until 14:30 local time. However, BCA remains available 24 hours to serve customers' transaction needs through digital services available in the myBCA application, BCA mobile, internet banking (KlikBCA), and the BCA ATM network throughout Indonesia.
