Jakarta, 9 June 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is opening registration for the BCA Scholarship for the Business and Banking Education Program (PPBP) and the Informatics Engineering Education Program (PPTI) for the 2027 academic year. Registration is open from April 13 to October 20, 2026. Through this program, BCA encourages Indonesia's young generation to develop their potential while preparing for their future careers.
The PPBP and PPTI Scholarships are programs from Bakti BCA to assist young Indonesians pursuing higher education and preparing for careers in technology and banking. Specifically, the PPBP Scholarship is open to young people interested in business, management, and the banking industry. The PPTI Scholarship is open to participants who want to explore the world of information technology, data, and digital systems development.
This scholarship is open to eleventh and twelfth grade students, as well as high school and vocational school graduates planning to pursue higher education in 2027 from various majors. Students and vocational school graduates who wish to enroll in the PPTI program must be majoring in Informatics Engineering. Scholarship recipients are required to undertake a comprehensive 2.5-year education at the BCA Learning Institute in Sentul, Bogor.

During the program, scholarship recipients will not be charged any tuition fees and will receive various supporting facilities, including pocket money, dormitory facilities, learning resources (including special PPTI laptops), and the opportunity for job offers at BCA after graduating from the program.
The following requirements must be met to receive the 2027 PPBP and PPTI Scholarships:
- Indonesian citizen
- Students in grades 11 and 12, or high school/vocational high school graduates
- Maximum age of 19 years at the time of application
- Average grades on grades 10, 11, and 12 of at least 75.00
- Average grades on grades 10, 11, and 12 of Mathematics and grades 10, 11, and 12 of at least 75.00
- Able to speak basic English
- Never repeated a grade from elementary school to high school/vocational high school
- Never involved in drugs or other legal violations
- Passed the selection process

The PPBP and PPTI Scholarships are BCA initiatives, under the Bakti BCA umbrella, which have been in existence since 1996. In 2025, the number of PPBP and PPTI scholarship recipients reached 195. Ninety-seven percent of PPBP and PPTI scholarship graduates became permanent BCA employees in 2025.
In addition to the PPBP and PPTI Scholarships, Bakti BCA in the field of education also has other programs such as the Bakti BCA Scholarship for undergraduate students, Financial Literacy Education, Bakti BCA School, Teacher Tech Competition, MUA training for people with disabilities, as well as a series of public lectures from the BCA Board of Directors entitled "BCA Sharing Knowledge" which was held at a number of well-known universities.
