Jakarta, 11 June 2026 – In connection with the repurchase of shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (“BCA” or “Perseroan”) which has been approved by the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2025 Financial Year held on March 12, 2026, the Company continues the realization of the Company’s share repurchase (“Buyback”) program on June 11, 2026.
BCA President Director Hendra Lembong revealed that this corporate action is a continuation of the share buyback program previously implemented in April 2026. Hendra emphasized that this corporate action is part of BCA's confidence in the condition of the Indonesian capital market.
"The buyback exercise signals our optimism in the Indonesian capital market. This corporate action also takes into account the Company's fundamentals," said Hendra Lembong.
Hendra emphasized that the company consistently adheres to the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and complies with all applicable rules and regulations. The Buyback period is 12 months, from March 12, 2026, to March 11, 2027, unless terminated earlier by the Company in accordance with statutory provisions.
The buyback value is a maximum of IDR 5,000,000,000,000 (five trillion rupiah), including brokerage fees and other costs. This buyback will not have a material impact on the Company's financial performance or business activities. BCA management will continue to monitor market dynamics during the buyback.
"We express our deepest appreciation for the trust and support from all shareholders. BCA remains focused on the company's business fundamentals and is moving forward prudently in 2026," concluded Hendra Lembong.
