Jakarta, 27 July 2021 – In this period of social restriction, the availability of premium and comprehensive banking service has become a priority. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) reaffirm their commitment to ‘Always By Your Side’ through a number of innovations which allow its customers to access #BankingFromHome. In order to help their customer in accessing Halo BCA’s contact center service, the company has launched haloBCA application which was available on Play Store and AppStore since Monday (26/7).
“We believe that contact center service has become a fundamental part for banking in conducting their business. We have integrated all channels in the Halo BCA contact center in a single app to meet the dynamic customers’ need. This is also to reaffirm our commitment to ‘Always By Your Side’ by providing prime service that is both comfortable and safe,” said Wani Sabu, the Executive Vice President Center of Digital of BCA.
Customer who has downloaded the haloBCA app will be able to enjoy the following features:
- VoIP Call, with this feature, customer will be able to contact Halo BCA at any time and from any place, including overseas or remote area, without having to worry of running out of phone credit because this feature is based on internet and thus does not use the phone credit.
- Chat, with this feature, customer will be able to chat with the Halo BCA Customer Service through WhatsApp Bank BCA or Chat.
- Email, with this feature, customer will be able to contact the official email of Halo BCA (halobca@bca.co.id)
- Twitter, with this feature, customer will be able to mention Halo BCA’s official account (@HaloBCA) which has been blue check marked.
This service can be used by all of BCA’s customers 24/7. After downloading the haloBCA app, customer can use it instantly. However, it is recommended that the customer immediately register to expedite the verification process during Call and to avoid further data entry while using Chat.
Wani stated that the presence of Halo BCA digital innovation is one of the answers and solutions due to the prevalence of fake BCA contact number or account by criminals claiming to be acting on behalf of BCA. Any communication with Halo BCA is integrated with this one application, allowing customers to feel safer and more confortable. The haloBCA application will also include additional features such as history and status report, both of which are still under development, in order to allow customer to track the reports that has been sent previously.
In the middle of the Indonesian government implementation of Public Activity Restriction (known as PPKM) to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, BCA as a banking institution shall continue to work on providing optimum service through digital banking to all customers in Indonesia through #BankingFromHome service.
“We would like to ask all of BCA customers to utilize this facility as the new solution to communicate with Halo BCA. We hope that this application will be able to answer the real time needs of our banking customer and to reduce the (banking) crime done by irresponsible criminals,” said Wani.
