Targeting Younger Generation, BCA Launches BCA Young Community (BYC) App

Jakarta, 12 March 2022 – The Indonesian population, which is dominated by Gen Z and the millennials, encourages BCA to continuously align its products and services according to the current needs. BCA implements its commitment through the BCA Young Community (BYC) app, which is an app built for the young generation of BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas customers. Through the app, users can gain some insights into the business world, share, and explore ideas and business opportunities according to their interests, and build networks with young business players throughout Indonesia.

“BCA wants to provide a platform for BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas senior customers, in which their business has been succeeded by their successors, most of whom choose to be an entrepreneur as a starting point in their career or before continuing their family business. In such transition, the second generation needs to develop their knowledge and experience to carry out their role. For this reason, BCA created the BCA Young Community to cater to these needs through the implementation of various activities such as workshops, small gatherings, company visits, conferences, and many more,” explained Adrianus Wagimin, Executive Vice President of Individual Customer Business Development of BCA at the BCA Expoversary 2022, Friday (11/03).

The requirements to join the application are fairly easy, namely being a young customer of BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas or a subsidiary of BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas and aged between 18 - 35 years old. Customers can also easily register via byc.bca.co.id.

For your information, the growth of BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas customer saw a growing trend every year. As of December 2021, the number of Prioritas customers was recorded at 173,603 customers and the BCA Solitaire customers were 4,056 customers.

The benefits of being a BYC member include:

  1. Expand your business network and learn the business together with other young customers.
  2. Sharing experience, knowledge, and gaining insightful content from the speakers and experts through the activities.
  3. Introducing businesses, establishing relationships with other young business players throughout Indonesia.
  4. BCA also provides the right, targeted solutions for young customers especially BYC customers, through the Millennial Solution Program for both businesses' needs such as capital and payment solutions, and personal needs such as KPR, KKB, and Credit Cards.

“The BYC community does more than just gatherings get-togethers, it brings its members together and connects their businesses and provides banking solutions to sustain both their business and personal needs. Through the BYC, we wish to be able to bridge the needs of young business players, both business and personal needs, by providing the best solutions to support business growth and ultimately contribute to the Indonesian national economy,” Adrianus concluded.
