Jakarta, 22 August 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) officially launched the offline edition of BCA UMKM Fest 2026 at Indonesia Arena, Jakarta, on Thursday (20/8). This offline event complements the hybrid BCA UMKM Fest 2026, which is running from 1 August to 20 September. The opening ceremony of the offline BCA UMKM Fest 2026 was held on Friday (21/8). In total, more than 60 business players are taking part in the offline UMKM Fest 2026 until 23 August. In addition, more than 1,600 businesses are participating in UMKM Fest 2026 online through the Blibli and Grab platforms.
The opening of BCA UMKM Fest 2026 was attended by OJK Chairwoman Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman, BCA President Director Hendra Lembong, BCA Deputy President Director John Kosasih, and members of the BCA Board of Directors.
BCA Deputy President Director John Kosasih stated, "MSMEs are the backbone of Indonesia's economy. Through this UMKM Fest, BCA wants to ensure that MSME players not only get a stage to market their products, but also the access they need to keep growing."
This year's event highlights four key business sectors: Fashion, Health & Beauty, Hobby & Activity, and Food & Beverage, reflecting the diversity of MSME potential in Indonesia.
BCA operates on three main pillars in supporting MSME development: Coaching, Payment Infrastructure Provision, and Financing Solutions. BCA UMKM Fest is one of the concrete manifestations of the Coaching pillar's implementation, while on the financing pillar, BCA's commitment is reflected in credit disbursement to the MSME sector reaching Rp134.6 trillion, growing 6% YoY as of the first semester of 2026.
As part of this financing support, BCA had previously introduced special credit interest rates for MSME players, effective from 1 July 2026 to January 2027. This special financing, called Kredit Multiguna Usaha (KMU) Hari UMKM 2026 [MSME Day Multipurpose Business Credit], offers interest rates starting from 5.81% eff p.a. and longer credit terms, resulting in lighter installments for business players.
Going forward, BCA will continue to strengthen its support for MSME players so they can develop sustainably, not only through access to financing, but also through coaching and expanded market access. "We hope MSMEs continue to grow as one of the efforts to increase their contribution to the Indonesian economy. That is why BCA will continue to be present as a partner that helps businesses move up a class, expand their reach, and build sustainable businesses," John Kosasih concluded.
