Returning to the list of World’s Best Banks, BCA Consistently Remains Forbes' Version of Indonesia's Best Bank

Jakarta, 9 May 2026 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) maintains consistency as Indonesia's best bank according to Forbes, an international media outlet that has focused on economy and business for over 100 years. BCA's achievement of returning to the list of #1 World's Best Bank in Indonesia has solidified their commitment to delivering the best banking service for customers.

World's Best Banks is an event held by Forbes by collaborating with survey institution Statista. Forbes uses a survey method with about 54,000 respondents from 34 countries to judge five main aspects: trustworthiness, terms and conditions, customer service, digital services, and financial advice.

Forbes noted that BCA was one of 311 banks that have successfully maintained their status as World's Best Bank from the previous year. This has confirmed BCA's consistency in maintaining their standards as a high-performing bank.

BCA noted an increase in total credit of 5.6% year-over-year (YoY) reaching IDR994 trillion as of March 2026. This credit disbursement was supported by solid financing, with current accounts and savings (CASA) totaling to IDR1.089 trillion, a growth of 11.2% YoY. CASA dominated about 85.2% of BCA's total Third-Party Funds (DPK). The total profit of BCA and its subsidiaries reached IDR14.7 trillion.

BCA Credit until the end of March 2026 was especially supported by productive credit as large as IDR760.2 trillion, an increase of 7.8% YoY. Aside from that, credit disbursement to developing sectors have grown 10.0% YoY to IDR258.4 trillion, or an equivalent of 26.0% of the total portfolio of BCA's funding. This achievement is supported by small business credit which amounts to 12% YoY to IDR113 trillion, one of which is supported by funding disbursement to the New and Renewable Energy sector, which went up by 53.5% YoY.

Per March 2026, BCA has served 44 million customer accounts and processed over 122 million daily transactions, supported by 1,270 branch offices, 20,336 ATMs, as well as internet & mobile banking and the Halo BCA contact center which is accessible for 24 hours a day.
