BCA’s Tiered Fixed-Rate Mortgage Program with Competitive Interest Rates, Break the Myth That Gen Z Struggles to Own a Home

Tangerang, 6 February 2026 – Owning a dream home is often a challenge for today’s younger generation, or Gen Z. In response to this challenge, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) offers a Home Ownership Loan (KPR) program with tiered fixed interest rates.

BCA Director Haryanto T. Budiman stated that the company has identified an optimal scheme to enable Gen Z to own homes through mortgage financing with tiered interest rates. This tiered model offers lower interest rates at the beginning of the loan period.

According to Haryanto, the tiered fixed-rate mortgage program makes it easier for Gen Z to manage home installments in line with their financial capacity, especially for those who are currently new employees or first-time entrepreneurs.

“This is an excellent opportunity for all our Gen Z customers who are looking to invest. A home is one of the best investments, especially when supported by BCA’s financing with highly competitive interest rates,” said Haryanto after the opening of Expoversary 2026 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday (February 5, 2026).

Haryanto added that Gen Z is currently one of the key target segments for BCA’s mortgage products. This aligns with BCA’s customer base, which is now predominantly made up of individuals under the age of 30.

“Most of our employees are from Gen Z, and our customers are as well. So we need to speak the same language, and property remains one of the best investment options,” Haryanto added.

At the same occasion, BCA President Director Hendra Lembong revealed that the tiered fixed-rate mortgage product is specifically designed, among others, for the younger generation. This tiered fixed-rate mortgage is offered with tenors starting from 10 years.

The interest rate is lower at the beginning and gradually adjusts over time, based on the assumption that Gen Z borrowers will experience income growth as their careers progress or their businesses continue to develop.

“Gen Z generally starts out with relatively modest income, but as they get promoted their earnings increase. That’s why this mortgage product is very popular among Gen Z,” said Hendra.

Hendra added that the bank remains committed to helping the public and its customers meet their needs, such as housing, vehicles, gadgets, and more. He said BCA consistently offers competitive rates to ensure they do not place a heavy burden on customers.

“With competitive rates, we hope to help the public and BCA customers purchase homes, cars, motorcycles, and anything else needed for daily necessities,” said Hendra.

BCA is currently hosting BCA Expoversary 2026 from February 5–8, 2026. During the event, BCA is offering a special mortgage interest rate of 1.69% fixed for one year, along with a 50% discount on the provision fee and a 5% discount on life insurance.
