Jakarta, 21 December 2025 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is opening the second round of registration for the BCA Information Technology Education Program (PPTI) Scholarship for the 2026 academic year. This program is intended for 12th-grade students, high school graduates from the science stream, and vocational school alumni majoring in information technology or computer science who wish to attend college in 2026. Registration for the second batch of the BCA PPTI Scholarship is open until 31 January 2026.
The PPTI Scholarship is a BCA program under the Bakti BCA, which provides free access to education in the fields of IT and technological innovation for high-achieving high school/vocational school graduates. BCA also opens opportunities for high school students or graduates who have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Information Technology (IT) to participate in the selection process.
“Mastery of information technology is one of the important things that young people must have today. IT skills are needed to build an adaptive and sustainable banking industry. Through the PPTI Scholarship, BCA strives to open access to education that is relevant to industry needs, while preparing young people to be ready to contribute significantly in the digital era,” said EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility BCA Hera F. Haryn.
This program reflects BCA's ongoing commitment to supporting sustainable and quality education, while also preparing excellent human resources. Through this program, participants will receive intensive education focused on developing information technology competencies and their application in the banking sector.
PPTI Scholarship recipients will undergo a 2.5-year education program at the BCA Learning Institute in Sentul, West Java. All tuition and accommodation costs at the educational facility will be covered by BCA. Participants will receive various benefits such as a monthly allowance, dormitory accommodation, lunch, textbooks, and a laptop to support their studies.
Through the PPTI Scholarship, BCA hopes to nurture a young generation that is not only academically excellent but also adaptive, innovative, and ready to contribute to technological development in the banking industry. This program also opens up opportunities for graduates to pursue careers and grow with BCA.
“This program not only emphasizes academic aspects, but also character building, critical thinking, and readiness to face the dynamics of the world of work. We hope that PPTI Scholarship participants can grow into competent digital talents who have a passion for continuous learning and innovation,” said Hera.

The PPTI Scholarship Program is an initiative under the Bakti BCA that has been running since 1996. To date, there are 309 active PPTI BCA participants. A total of 99 percent of PPTI scholarship graduates have joined BCA as permanent employees.
In addition to the PPTI Scholarship, Bakti BCA also offers various other educational programs, such as the Bakti BCA Scholarship for undergraduate students, financial literacy education, Bakti BCA School, and the “BCA Berbagi Ilmu” public lecture program, which is regularly held at various universities.
