Important Information

Additional Information

  • Tahapan BCA accounts can be opened for individuals and foundations (Yayasan). Accounts can be opened as joint accounts with either “Or” or “And” types.
  • An instruction given to the bank or a cash withdrawal made from a joint account with the status of “Or” can be made by only one of the joint account holders. However, for a joint account with the status of "And", such instruction or cash withdrawal must be made collectively by all of the joint account holders.
  • Tahapan BCA accounts owned by foundations and joint accounts of the “Dan” type will be provided with Paspor Khusus Counter Card, which can only be used to conduct transactions at the counter.
  • Cash withdrawals or fund transfers by customer representatives can be done at BCA branch offices and must be accompanied by a stamped power of attorney from the customer, as well as the customer's identity card and the original identity card of the representative.
  • The savings interest will be credited to the Customer’s account at the end of the relevant month.
  • Customers may request that BCA not pay interest on their deposits in their Tahapan BCA accounts. In this case, customers will still receive interest on their average monthly balance for the current month in their Tahapan BCA accounts, calculated proportionally from the beginning of the month until 1 (one) calendar day before the date of completion of the customer's request to BCA not to pay interest.
  • If a customer submits a request to BCA to reinstate interest on their savings in a Tahapan BCA account, the account will receive interest on the average monthly balance calculated from the beginning of the current month.
  • Customer requests to BCA to pay or not pay interest on customer deposits in Tahapan BCA accounts can be submitted through BCA branch offices by filling out and signing the form provided by BCA. Customers are fully responsible for all consequences arising from BCA's decision to pay or not pay interest at the customer's request.
  • Savings interest rates may change depending on market conditions. In the event of a decrease in interest rates, this will result in a reduction in the nominal interest received by customers.
  • Customers may request closure of their savings accounts at a branch by bringing their original valid ID card, Paspor BCA card, and other supporting documents (if any), in accordance with applicable BCA regulations, and a closing fee will be charged.
  • If the remaining balance in a customer's savings account is zero and there have been no transactions for 12 consecutive months, the account will be closed automatically.
  • If a customer passes away, BCA has the right to request inheritance documents as required by the Bank to process the disbursement of the balance in the customer's Tahapan BCA account to the heirs listed in the inheritance documents. By disbursing the balance of the Tahapan BCA account belonging to a deceased depositor to the heirs or their representatives who are entitled to it in accordance with the inheritance documents, BCA is released from all responsibilities related to the customer's Tahapan BCA account.
  • Transactions that have not been printed in the Tahapan BCA passbook (unprinted transactions) within a certain amount or period can be combined into one debit transaction and/or one credit transaction (depending on the type of transaction) and carried out automatically by the system.
  • If the customer applies for m-BCA, KlikBCA, and/or other facilities related to opening a Tahapan BCA account, the customer hereby agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of m-BCA, KlikBCA, and/or other facilities related to opening a Tahapan BCA account, as used by the customer.
