The Whistleblowing System (WBS) is a reporting channel provided for both internal and external parties to report suspected fraud or violations committed by individuals within BCA.
Purpose BCA Whistleblowing System
The implementation of the Whistleblowing System at BCA aims to:
Encourage stakeholders (employees, customers, and other parties) to report suspected fraud or violations occurring within BCA without fear or hesitation.
Ensure that fraud or violations can be detected and prevented as early as possible through reports submitted by whistleblowers.
To facilitate and expedite the follow-up process, reporters are required to ensure the following when submitting a report:
Reports must be submitted in good faith and must not constitute personal grievances or be motivated by malicious intent or defamation.
Whistleblowers are required to provide information regarding their identity, including at least the following:
Name of the whistleblower (anonymous reports are permitted);
Contact phone number or email address.
Provide credible preliminary evidence of the reported fraud or violation, supported by relevant data (if any), including the following 4W1H elements:
The reported act or incident (What);
The parties involved (Who);
The time of the incident (When);
The place or location of the incident (Where);
The manner in which the incident occurred (How).
Types of acts that may be reported include:
Acts classified as fraud, which consists of:
Corruption, including:
Conflicts of interest that are detrimental to BCA and/or customers;
Bribery;
Unauthorized receipt of funds; and/or
Extortion;
Misuse of assets, including:
Misuse of cash;
Misuse of inventory; and/or
Misuse of other assets;
Financial statement fraud, including:
Overstatement of net assets and/or net income; or
Understatement of net assets and/or net income;
Fraud;
Disclosure of confidential information; and/or
Other acts that may be considered equivalent to fraud in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Acts classified as business or code of ethics violations, namely actions that are inconsistent with BCA’s culture, which has been formulated based on positive values that have grown and developed among all BCA employees, to achieve common goals and also serve as a guideline for BCA employees in making decisions and taking actions.
Acts classified as conflicts of interest, namely actions that create a situation in which an individual, in performing their duties and obligations, has interests outside their official duties, whether personal, family-related, or involving third parties, thereby potentially compromising their objectivity in making decisions and implementing policies within the authority granted to them by BCA.
Acts classified as legal violations, namely actions or behaviors of an individual that are contrary to the laws and regulations in force in Indonesia.

BCA is committed to ensuring the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity and the contents of the submitted report.
