Orangutan Conservations For Forest Ecosystem Sustainable

BCA continues to support the government's orangutan conservation efforts in Indonesia, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) of East Kalimantan and the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) through orangutan rehabilitation & release, education to the public, especially students, pre-release & sanctuary island improvements and nature reserve maintenance.

Since 2012, BCA with BKSDA of East Kalimantan and BOSF has released 49 orangutans into their habitat. More than 4,200 students were actively involved in socializing the importance of orangutan conservation through the Orangutan Goes to School (OGTS) program.
