Rehabilitations And Release Support

In 2023, together with The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF), BCA supported the rehabilitation and release of 5 orangutans.

Public Education

Education and socializations on the importance of orang utan conservations and ecosystem is consistently connected to the public.

Conservation Area Support

BCA supports the improvement of pre-release island & sanctuary as well as the long-term care of nature reserves through tree planting in the conservation areas.

Orangutan Conservations For Forest Ecosystem Sustainable

BCA continues to support the government's orangutan conservation efforts in Indonesia, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) of East Kalimantan and the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) through orangutan rehabilitation & release, education to the public, especially students, pre-release & sanctuary island improvements and nature reserve maintenance.

Since 2012, BCA with BKSDA of East Kalimantan and BOSF has released 49 orangutans into their habitat. More than 4,200 students were actively involved in socializing the importance of orangutan conservation through the Orangutan Goes to School (OGTS) program.
