Starting July 15, 2025, you can use your Poket Valas balance in myBCA directly as a source of funds for Debit Online transactions. This means payments will be deducted from your foreign currency balance in Poket Valas without converting to rupiah.
Shopping at overseas online stores is now more practical and convenient. Because you can pay in foreign currencies available in your Poket Valas.
So, how do you activate Debit Online in myBCA? Just follow these simple steps:
How to Activate Online Debit in myBCA
- Log in to myBCA app
- On the Home page, tap the Debit Card menu.
- Select the Debit Card you want to set up
- Tap Transaction Control, then select Set Up Phone Number
- Choose your mobile number, tap Register, and confirm the number you want to use
- Enter your Transaction PIN to verify
(Make sure you have enough credit to receive the OTP code.) - Your mobile number is successfully registered
- Slide the toggle to activate Debit Online Transactions
- Re-enter your Transaction PIN for final verification
- Debit Online is now active

*Note: Make sure you have sufficient balance in your Foreign Currency Pocket to complete online debit transactions on international e-commerce or marketplace sites. If your balance is insufficient, the transaction will be declined. To avoid this, activate the "Foreign Currency Pocket Transactions with Main Account Debit" feature, so transactions can still be processed by deducting the funds from your main account.
