Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has become a world-shaking pandemic that poses a threat to everyone, including policy holders. Therefore, AIA, a BCA Bancassurance partner, provides protection for existing customers who have contracted Covid-19 by providing Inpatient Benefits of Rp1,500,000 per day up to a maximum of 30 days until May 31st, 2020.
For new customers whose policies issued between 16 March – 31 May 2020, AIA will provide an additional 50% Sum Assured (to 150% of Sum Assured) with a maximum value of up to Rp1 billion if the policyholder dies due to Covid-19 until 31 December 2020 (post 14 days of issuance).
To obtain this protection, the customers must follow the government guidelines and orders for Covid-19 patients.
Terms and conditions of the program:
- Inpatient benefits plus 50% of the Sum Assured only applies once per person.
- The additional benefit of 50% of the Sum Assured applies for the purchase of Maxi Infinite Link Assurance, Maxi Protection, policies during the period of the program.
- The relevant policies owned by the customer must be active (in force)
- Insurance claim can be done by filling out the insurance claim form and attach a statement letter issued by a physician or hospital stating that the customer has contracted Covid-19 along with the period of hospitalization and other supporting documents.
