Risks

    • The amount of all savings (including interest) at one bank exceeds (equal to) Rp2 billion for both single and joint accounts.
    • The interest rate applicable exceeds the LPS-guaranteed interest rate.
  • Interest rates fluctuation may occur following market developments.
  • If the remaining balance in the customer account is zero and there are no transactions for 12 consecutive months,, the account will be automatically closed.

Additional Information

  • Interest will be credited at the end of each month.
  • If interest rates decrease, nominal interest received will also decrease.
  • The joint account is available in the “AND/OR” account.
  • The instruction given to the bank in an OR account can be made against the signature of one holder of such joint account. Meanwhile, in an AND account, instructions must be made against the signatures of all account holders.
  • To close a savings account, customers can visit the branch where the account was opened and an account closing fee will be charged.
  • The Bank is required to notify all changes to the benefits, costs, risks, terms, and conditions of these Products and Services by mail or through other means pursuant to the prevailing terms and conditions. Such notification will be made 30 days prior to the effective date.
  • For every offer and subscription of other products, BCA will first ask the customer for approval to provide customer data to third parties.

Fees

  • Income Tax Fee: 20% of the nominal interest.
  • Every customer who makes a large cash withdrawal (with a value more than or equal to IDR100,000,000) is required to give a 1-day notice. Failure to give such notice, the customer will be charged a fee of IDR100,000

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PASPOR BCA CARDHOLDER
PT BANK CENTRAL ASIA Tbk (“BCA”)

A. DEFINITION
  1. Cardholder means individual BCA customer who holds PASPOR BCA Card for Tahapan, Giro or other account as determined by BCA, and has completed and signed the Individual Account Opening Form or the Form of Application for Opening Additional Accounts & Facilities.
  2. PASPOR BCA Card means the card issued by BCA which can be used by the Cardholder to make Certain Transaction through a BCA Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and/or such other facility as determined by BCA.
  3. GPN PASPOR BCA Card means PASPOR BCA Card which bears the national logo (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional/National Payment Gateway).
  4. Certain Transaction means transactions that can be carried out by Cardholder through BCA ATMs and/or other facility determined by BCA such as deposits, cash withdrawals, transfer, payments, and balance insformation inquiry as well as Contactless Transactions.
  5. Contactless Transaction is transaction carried out using a PASPOR BCA Card with contactless feature by bringing the PASPOR BCA Card closer (without having to dip/swipe the PASPOR BCA Card) to an EDC machine or Terminal owned by BCA or other parties through the Maestro/Mastercard network with or without using a personal password number or Personal Identification Number (PIN).

B. TERMS FOR PASPOR BCA CARDHOLDER

  1. PASPOR BCA Card is the property of BCA. If required by BCA, PASPOR BCA Card shall be immediately returned to BCA.
  2. PASPOR BCA Card shall be for the use by the Cardholder only and may not be transferred to any person in any manner. All consequences of any misuse of PASPOR BCA Card, including any misuse of PASPOR BCA Card to make Contactless Transaction, shall become full liability of the Cardholder.
  3. PASPOR BCA Card may not be used for other purposes than for the purpose of performing Certain Transactions.
  4. For the implementation of fund transfer transactions (including registration of destination accounts for the purpose of fund transfer transactions) through facilities provided by BCA, other banks, or non-bank institutions, the Cardholder hereby authorizes BCA to:
    1. display the name and/or account number of the Cardholder on the BCA facilities used to conduct fund transfer transactions;
    2. provide data on the name and/or account number of the Cardholder to other banks, non-bank institutions, and other parties cooperating with other banks or non-bank institutions to be displayed on the facilities used for fund transfer transactions.
    The display of such name and/or account number is conducted as a means of confirmation to customers who conduct fund transfers to minimize the possibility of wrong transfers.
  5. For the implementation of deposit transactions, transfers, remittances, or other financial transactions and for the purposes of verification/confirmation of the status of transactions made by the Cardholder to a fund account, virtual account, or other means that can receive funds or can be used as a facility for fund transfer/payment through BCA branch offices, facilities provided by BCA, other banks, or non-bank institutions, the Cardholder hereby authorizes BCA to:
    1. display the name and/or account number of the Cardholder on the account statement and transaction report issued by BCA;
    2. provide data on the name and/or account number of the Cardholder to other parties who process deposit transactions, transfers, remittances, or other financial transactions, recipients of virtual account facilities or other means that can receive funds or can be used as a facility for fund transfer/payment, as well as to other parties who receive funds from transactions made by the Cardholder.
  6. Each time when using PASPOR BCA Card, the Cardholder is required to enter his/her Personal Identification Number (PIN) or to affix Cardholder’s signature (particularly in case of Certain Transaction on the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine at a foreign merchant which only accepts transaction verification in the form of signature). The Cardholder shall keep confidential his/her PIN and/or any OTP (One Time Password) sent to his/her mobile phone number. OTP is required only for certain transactions, among other things, online debit transactions, when the merchant requires the Cardholder to enter the OTP. The Cardholder may not disclose his/her PIN and/or OTP number to any person. All consequences of any misuse of the PIN and/or OTP shall be the full liability of the Cardholder.
  7. Notwithstanding the provisions as specified in point 6 above, the Cardholder shall be able to make Contactless Transaction using PASPOR BCA Card which has contactless feature without being required to enter personal password number or PIN up to the maximum limit determined by BCA, the principal of the PASPOR BCA Card , or the competent authority in each country where the Cardholder make such Contactless Transaction. 
  8. In conducting Contactless Transaction, the Cardholder must follow the applicable rules at BCA, the regulations issued by the principal of PASPOR BCA Card , and applicable regulations in each country where the Cardholder conducts Contactless Transactions, including provisions regarding transaction limits and the frequency of Contactless Transaction that can be conducted by the Cardholder.
  9. Notwithstanding the provisions as specified in point point 8 above, for the convenience of the Cardholder, Contactless Transactions can still be carried out at certain merchant the list of which will be notified by BCA in any form and by any means in accordance with applicable laws, although the Cardholder has not set up Contactless Transaction.
  10. The usage of PASPOR BCA Card in contactless method as specified above shall have the same legal force as the written instruction signed by the Cardholder.
  11. A parent or guardian who open the account as the parent or guardian of a minor shall be fully liable for the use of the PASPOR BCA Card provided by BCA in relation to such account opening and may not disclose the PIN of the PASPOR BCA Card to any party including to the minor who owns the account. All consequences which may arise in relation to the use of the PASPOR BCA Card and the PIN, including any misuse thereof, shall become the full liability of the parent or guardian.
  12. In the event that the PASPOR BCA Card is stolen or lost, the Cardholder shall immediately provide written notice signed by the Cardholder to a branch office of BCA during BCA’s business hours in the form and substance acceptable to BCA. If the Cardholder is unable to come in person to a branch office of BCA, such notice may be made via HALO BCA.
  13. Any notice of PASPOR BCA Card theft or loss, either to a branch office of BCA or via HALO BCA, will be followed up with the blocking of the PASPOR BCA Card by BCA. The blocking will be continued by BCA until BCA receives a written request from the Cardholder to unblock the PASPOR BCA Card. So far as no notice of theft or loss has been received by BCA, any Certain Transaction made using the stolen or lost PASPOR BCA Card shall become the full liability of the Cardholder.
  14. A written request to unblock PASPOR BCA Card following the reported loss may be submitted by the Cardholder to a BCA branch office. BCA shall be entitled to verify the identity of the Cardholder when the Cardholder is requesting to unblock the PASPOR BCA Card.
  15. The Cardholder may use their PASPOR BCA Card to perform Certain Transactions only so far as there is adequate balance available in the BCA account of the Cardholder.
  16. Particularly for the holders of a joint account of Tahapan BCA Gabungan, BCA may issue a PASPOR BCA Card only to one of the persons named as the account holders as determined by the account holders.
  17. The statement and calculation from BCA in relation to Certain Transactions and/or the account balance as a result of the use of the PASPOR BCA Card shall be binding evidence unless proven otherwise.
  18. The Cardholder shall hold BCA harmless against all claims, lawsuits, and/or other legal actions and from any losses incurred from any falsification of the PASPOR BCA Card.
  19. BCA shall not be liable for any damage and/or failure of the operation of BCA ATM and/or other facility caused by event which is beyond the control or fault of BCA.
  20. The Cardholder shall be liable and must immediately repay to BCA if they have withdrawn money or performed other Certain Transaction using PASPOR BCA Card from any account which does not belong to them, either intentionally or inadvertently or for any reason whatsoever. For that purpose, the Cardholder authorizes BCA to debit Tahapan BCA/Giro or other accounts of the Cardholder with BCA at any time for the repayment of the withdrawn amount.
  21. BCA shall be entitled to block, cancel, withdraw or renew any PASPOR BCA Card and/or account of the Cardholder at any time for certain reason.
  22. BCA shall be entitled to terminate the use of a PASPOR BCA Card if the Cardholder does not comply with this Terms for PASPOR BCA Cardholder.
  23. The Cardholder shall bear any fees incurred in relation to the issuance and/or use of their PASPOR BCA Card, including, but not limited to, fees for producing / replacing PASPOR BCA Card, administration, transaction, and other fees.
    The amount of the fees and any changes therein will be notified to the Cardholder in the form and by means in accordance with applicable laws. The fees shall be debited directly by BCA from the Cardholder’s account.
  24. In the event that PASPOR BCA Card is not collected within a period of 3 (three) months since submission of the request, the PASPOR BCA Card will be destroyed by BCA and the Cardholder shall pay fees for the PASPOR BCA Card production as specified in point 23 which shall be debited directly from the Cardholder’s account in such amount as determined by BCA. For this purpose, the Cardholder authorizes BCA to debit any account owned by the Cardholder.
  25. The use of PASPOR BCA Card shall be subject to the rules and terms applicable at BCA and the terms which regulates all services or facilities and Certain Transactions covered by PASPOR BCA Card. BCA shall reserves the right to amend the rules and terms applicable at BCA and the terms which regulates all services or facilities and Certain Transactions covered by PASPOR BCA Card at any time as shall be notified by BCA in form and by means in accordance with applicable laws.
  26. Any use of PIN on BCA ATMs, other ATMs under the network of a switching services provider, such as Prima and/or Cirrus, BCA Electronic Data Captures (EDC) machine, or other party’s EDC machine under Maestro / Mastercard network, shall have the same legal force as a written instruction signed by the Cardholder.
  27. The Cardholder hereby represents that all accounts, printouts, records, means of communication or other evidence in any form available at BCA in respect of any electronic banking transactions made by the Cardholder constitute conclusive evidence and binding upon the Cardholder, unless proven otherwise. Any data relating to electronic banking transactions performed by the Cardholder will be maintained by BCA pursuant to the applicable rules.
  28. The Cardholder hereby gives their consent to BCA to provide their data to external party, who cooperate with BCA, in relation to promotional activities or for other commercial purposes.

C. PROCEDURES

Use of PASPOR BCA Card

  1. PASPOR BCA Card may be used by the Cardholder to perform the following transactions:
    • cash deposit through a Cash Deposit Machine;
    • cash withdrawal at BCA ATM, other bank’s ATM such as through the network of ATM Prima and ATM Cirrus. Particularly for GPN PASPOR BCA Cards, cash withdrawal at other bank’s ATM may be made only at an ATM that has been connected with the network that can accept ATM and/or debit cards bearing the national logo (National Payment Gateway);
    • transfer of funds between BCA accounts and intra bank transfer of of funds in Rupiah currency through BCA ATM, ATM of other banks under the network of ATM Prima and of other switching services providers.
    • transfer of funds to into a US Dollar (USD) / Singapore Dollar (SGD) account through a BCA ATM in the currency determined by BCA;
    • payment of billing/installment and credit purchase through BCA ATM
    • spending with BCA Debit through BCA Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machine and EDC machine of other party through Maestro/Mastercard network. Particularly for GPN PASPOR BCA Cards, spending with BCA Debit on other party’s EDC machine may be made only on the EDC machine that has been connected with the network that can accept ATM and/or debit cards bearing the national logo (National Payment Gateway);
    • cash withdrawal at merchants with “Tunai BCA” sticker;
    • online debit transactions through a Mastercard network, particularly for holders of PASPOR BCA Mastercard;
    • other transactios determined by BCA through counter, ATMs, and/or other facility determined by BCA.
  2. Procedures and mechanism for using PASPOR BCA Card through ATMs shall be as follows:
    1. Insert the PASPOR BCA Card;
    2. Insert the PIN. The PASPOR BCA Card will be blocked if the Cardholder have inserted wrong PIN number for 3 (three) consecutive times. Unblocking may be conducted at a BCA branch office and for this purpose the Cardholder must bring Cardholder’s PASPOR BCA Card and identification card in accordance with applicable rules at BCA;
    3. Choose the type of the desired transaction.
  3. Procedures and instructions for using PASPOR BCA Card through EDC machine shall be as follows:
    1. Insert the PASPOR BCA Card;
    2. Check the nominal amount of the transaction displayed on the EDC machine screen;
    3. Insert PIN or affix Cardholder signature (particularly for Certain Transactions at a foreign merchant which only accepts transaction verification in the form of signature). The PASPOR BCA Card will be blocked if the Cardholder have inserted wrong PIN number 3 (three) times in a row. Unblocking can be conducted at a BCA branch office and for this purpose the Cardholder must bring Cardholder’s PASPOR BCA Card, proof of account ownership and identification card in accordance with applicable rules at BCA.
  4. Procedures and mechanism for using PASPOR BCA Card with contactless feature through EDC machine or other terminals owned by BCA or other party thorough Maestro/Mastercard network that accept Contactless Transaction are as follows:
    1. Locate the PASPOR BCA Card close to the EDC machine or terminal;
    2. Check the nominal amount of the transaction displayed on the EDC machine screen;
    3. For transaction above the maximum limit determined by BCA, the principal of PASPOR BCA Card, or the competent authority in each country where the Cardholder make the Contactless Transaction and/or other Contactless Transaction which are required to use a PIN, the Cardholder will be required to enter PIN or affix a signature (specifically for Certain Transactions at merchant abroad that only accept transaction verification in the form of signature). If the wrong PIN number is entered 3 (three) times in a row, the PASPOR BCA Card will be blocked. Unblocking can be conducted at BCA branch office by bringing PASPOR BCA Card, proof of account ownership, and Cardholder identification in accordance with applicable rules at BCA.
  5. Procedures and mechanism for using PASPOR BCA Mastercard for online debit transactions shall be as follows:
    1. Insert the number of PASPOR BCA Mastercard number, the expiry date, and the CVV (Card Verification Value) number to the merchant’s application / website;
    2. For transaction at a merchant which requires OTP, the merchant’s application / website screen will display instructions to insert OTP, and then the Cardholder must insert the OTP sent to Cardholder’s mobile phone number registered for online debit transaction verification purpose. The Cardholder must keep the OTP confidential and may not disclose it to any person;
    3. Continue the transaction in the merchant’s application/website.

PASPOR BCA Card Replacement 

  1. In the event that the PASPOR BCA Card is damaged or lost, the Cardholder may request for replacement to BCA at a BCA branch office determined by BCA which shall be notified to the Cardholder in form and by means in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. Any request for PASPOR BCA Card replacement shall be made by presenting the damaged PASPOR BCA Card to BCA.

PASPOR BCA Card Closure

In the event that the Cardholder wishes to no longer use their PASPOR BCA Card, the Cardholder shall:

  • deliver a written notice of PASPOR BCA Card closure;
  • present their PASPOR BCA Card;

to a BCA branch office.

PASPOR BCA Card will be closed upon:

  1. closure of the account connected with the PASPOR BCA Card; or
  2. change of the Cardholder’s account status from “or” to “and”; or
  3. request by the Cardholder for closure of the PASPOR BCA Card.

When the Cardholder has closed his/her PASPOR BCA Card, BCA will provide a counter-dedicated PASPOR BCA Card.

Complaint Handling

  1. Any complaint or report to BCA in connection with the use of PASPOR BCA Card may be communicated by the Cardholder to a BCA branch office or to HALO BCA. For the purpose of complaint handling, BCA shall reserve the right to require the Cardholder to deliver photocopies of Cardholder’s identification and other supporting documents.
  2. BCA shall respond the complaint in accordance with the applicable laws.
  3. Any complaint in relation to the use of PASPOR BCA Card shall be raised by the Cardholder to BCA no later than 3 (three) months of the date of the Certain Transaction.
  4. The Cardholder agrees that any dispute or difference between Cardholder and BCA which may arise from and/or in connection with the performance of this Terms for PASPOR BCA Cardholder will be settled amicably through discussion.
  5. Any dispute or difference which cannot be settled through discussion by BCA and the Cardholder will be settled through banking facilitation at Bank Indonesia or mediation administered by an Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution as specified in the List of Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution stipulated by Financial Services Authority.
  6. Any dispute or difference which cannot be settled through discussion and/or mediation specified in point 5 above will be settled through the Central Jakarta District Court, without prejudice to BCA’s right to bring actions or claims through another District Court within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

D. SPECIFIC TERMS FOR FLAZZ FEATURE IN PASPOR BCA CARD

  1. Flazz is a feature that attaches to certain PASPOR BCA Cards which can be used for making payment for goods and/or services by debiting the amounts available in the Flazz Feature.
  2. In the event that the PASPOR BCA Card is stolen or lost, BCA cannot suspend the amounts available in the Flazz Feature. All consequences of the use of Flazz Feature on the stolen or lost PASPOR BCA Card shall be the liability of the Cardholder.
  3. Flazz Feature shall have the same validity period as the validity period identified in the PASPOR BCA Card.
  4. The Cardholder shall have the right at any time to terminate the use of Flazz Feature provided that such termination shall take place contemporaneously with the replacement or closure of the PASPOR BCA Card.
  5. In addition to the specific terms set out above, the general terms for Flazz Feature are available on the website www.bca.co.id.

E. LANGUAGE

These Terms For Paspor BCA Cardholder Account are made and signed in two (2) versions of languages, namely Indonesian and English. In the event that there is a discrepancy in interpretation between the versions of Indonesian and English, then the version of Indonesian language shall prevail.

 

The Cardholder hereby declares that the Cardholder has fully understood and agreed to this Terms for PASPOR BCA Cardholder as set out above and BCA has given explanation to and sought confirmation from the Cardholder of the explanation regarding the benefits, fees and risks associated with PASPOR BCA Cards.
