Requirements and Procedures

  • How to register a Sakuku account:
    • Download the Sakuku app from the App Store/Play Store.
    • Take a photo of your face for biometric verification, a photo of your ID card, and fill in your ID card data for data verification.
    • Create 6-digit PIN.
  • To transact with Sakuku, users must first activate Sakuku Plus using the following options:
    • For users who don't have a Sakuku account yet, activate Sakuku Plus when registering on the Sakuku app.
    • For users who already have a Sakuku account, activate Sakuku Plus when logging in/re-registering on the Sakuku application or apply for an upgrade to Sakuku Plus at the nearest BCA branch by bringing your personal identity (KTP).

  • QRIS Payment Limit from IDR1 to IDR10,000,000 per transaction.
  • Phone credit purchase limit up to IDR2,500,000 per day.
  • Minimum Transfer Limit* of IDR1.
  • Cash Withdrawal Limit at ATM* from IDR50,000–IDR1,250,000 per transaction.
  • Merchant/e-commerce store transaction limit is at least IDR1 per transaction up to the maximum Sakuku balance.
  • The maximum Cash Top-Up Limit of 100 pieces (Denomination of IDR50,000 or IDR100,000) per transaction
  • Limit Top Up/Deposit to Sakuku/Sakuku Plus is IDR20,000,000 per day.
  • The maximum top-up limit per Sakuku account per month is IDR20,000,000 for Sakuku and IDR40,000,000 for Sakuku Plus.
  • The maximum balance is IDR2,000,000 for Sakuku and IDR20,000,000 for Sakuku Plus.

Additional Information

  • Sakuku (Unregistered) is a Sakuku whose user identity data has not been registered in the BCA system as a verified account.
  • Sakuku Plus is a Sakuku whose user identity data is registered and recorded in BCA (Registered).
  • Your Sakuku account will be blocked if:
    • The user entered the wrong PIN 3 (three) times in a row;
    • The user applies for the blocking of the Sakuku account because the SIM Card of the user's Sakuku number or the user's mobile phone has expired/lost/stolen/transferred to another party
  • Sakuku number is a mobile phone number used to open or connect a Sakuku account in the Sakuku application or on the Co-Partner Platform.
  • Each mobile phone number can be used for only 1 (one) Sakuku account on the Sakuku application and/or each co-partner platform.
  • Each time a user makes a transaction, they must enter a PIN to authorize it.
  • If there is a system disruption at BCA or at the cellular operator, the Sakuku service will be inaccessible for a while.
  • Closure of Sakuku services can be done through Halo BCA.
  • BCA will inform the customers of any changes to the benefits, costs, risks, terms and conditions of this Product and/or Service through any means in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

Sakuku Transaction Tips

  • Always keep your Sakuku PIN confidential for transaction security.
  • Always pay attention to the confirmation screen before approving a transaction.
  • In the event of a disruption in Sakuku's transactions, pay attention to the following:
    1. Make sure the mobile number has credit available to send SMS when registering.
    2. Make sure the mobile phone gets an adequate internet connection for transactions.
    3. Make sure you have sufficient balance in your Sakuku and that it is not blocked during the transaction.
    4. Check the proof of transaction to confirm the transaction was successful.
    5. Contact Halo BCA at 1500888 or via the Halo BCA application for further assistance.
  • When replacing the SIM card or mobile phone number used for Sakuku registration, customers must delete and re-download the Sakuku application, then re-register. The remaining balance will remain available in Sakuku as long as the customer uses the same mobile number and enters the same personal data as in the previous registration.

Opening Sakuku

  • Users, both BCA customers and non-customers, can open a Sakuku Plus account by verifying their identity and face.
  • Foreigners have not been able to open a Sakuku Plus account.
  • When registering, new users will automatically activate Sakuku Plus.

Blocking Sakuku

  • If your mobile phone is lost or other circumstances make Sakuku inaccessible, you can contact Halo BCA.
  • Halo BCA will verify the correctness of the data in accordance with the applicable procedures.
  • If the verification is appropriate, Halo BCA will process the blocking of Sakuku.

Cloure of Sakuku

  • Customers can close their Sakuku accounts by contacting Halo BCA.
  • Halo BCA will verify the truth in accordance with the applicable procedures and request the BCA account for the refund of the remaining Sakuku balance.
  • If the verification is appropriate, Halo BCA will process the Sakuku closure.
  • Specifically, for Sakuku Plus, the remaining Sakuku balance can be returned only to the BCA account with the same name as the Sakuku owner, or you can withdraw cash first before closing.

Complaint Handling

  • Customers can submit complaints to Halo BCA regarding Sakuku. In handling such complaints, BCA may request that customers submit a photocopy of their identity card and other supporting documents.
  • BCA will respond to such complaints in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
  • Any complaints related to Sakuku users must be submitted by the customer to BCA no later than 3 (three) months from the date of the transaction.

Connection Removal

Customers can disconnect by accessing the unbinding feature on the Sakuku application.

FAQ

Is there an administration fee or interest rates for Sakuku?

In compliance with Bank Indonesia regulations, electronic money services like Sakuku does not incur administration fee or interest rates.

What should I do if my transaction is successful but I did not receive a notification/proof?

Check your account balance on Sakuku mutation feature. If your balance remains the same, then the transaction was not successful, and you must try again. If your balance has been reduced, but the transaction has failed, please contact Halo BCA at 1500888.

Why can’t I conduct Sakuku transactions?

Reasons may include:

  • Your smartphone does not support Sakuku
  • SMS-Center operator is busy, your phone does not have battery, insufficient mobile credit, network disruption, or other causes

What do I do if I forgot my PIN/Sakuku is blocked?

You will need to delete and re-download your Sakuku app, and then re-register for Sakuku service.

What do I do if when I re-register, I am asked to re-register the next day?

  1. Your phone number may have been registered for Sakuku before using a different set of data, and BCA needs to process and verify the information
  2. You can ask for a refund to proof that you are the rightful owner of the account

What if my SIM Card and/or mobile phone is lost or stolen?

Report your loss to your provider and Halo BCA at 1500888 for processing. To use Sakuku again, you will need to re-download your Sakuku app, and re-register for Sakuku service using the same data.

Will my money be safe is my SIM Card/mobile phone is lost/stolen?

Yes, as long as your Sakuku PIN remains confidential.

What should I do if my Sakuku account is debited?

Visit the nearest branch/call Halo BCA at 1500888 for processing. BCA will verify your data and specified transaction, and process the next step.

Will I lose my balance if I upgrade to Sakuku Plus?

No, your balance will remain the same.

How do I know if my transaction is successful?

You will receive a notification on your screen, which will be saved to your Sakuku inbox.

What if I don’t have a BCA account, but would like to upgrade to Sakuku Plus?

Will I lose my balance if I upgrade to Sakuku Plus?

No, your balance will remain the same.

Will my data change if I upgrade to Sakuku Plus?

Your name and birthday will be verified using your existing data and BCA account, and cannot be changed through your Sakuku app.

What should I do if I wish to close my Sakuku account?

You can call Halo BCA at 1500888. Halo BCA will verify your data according to standard procedure and ask for your BCA account to refund the remaining Sakuku balance. If data verification is successful, Halo BCA will process the Sakuku termination.

For Sakuku Plus, the remaining Sakuku balance will be refunded only to a BCA account under the same name or you can withdraw all remaining balance before closing your Sakuku account.

How do I claim/request a refund for a Sakuku account that has been closed?

You can contact Halo BCA and process a refund if data verification is successful and provide the account number for the refund.

What if my Sakuku account has been closed but I want to use it again?

You can download the Sakuku app and register by filling out all required data with a waiting period of 30 (thirty) calendar days from the last registration date.
