BCA’s Commitment

BCA is committed to supporting the government program in the National Action Plan - Acceleration of Stunting Rate Reduction in Indonesia.

The PASTI Program

BCA’s participation in the Partnership to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Indonesia (PASTI) program has been implemented in the provinces of Banten, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara, And West Kalimantan.

Nutrition Interventions

A total of 1,725 children under five received nutrition intervention.

Reducing Stunting Rate

BCA, together with other philanthropic organisations and private companies, is supporting the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) to accelerate the reduction of stunting in Indonesia. This joint program lasts for four years, from 2023 to 2026 with a total donation of US$1 million, and the first phase has been distributed in 2023 worth Rp3.95 billion.

Reducing stunting rates must be done to maintain the quality of Indonesia's human resources in the future. Throughout 2023, 2,165 teenagers received education on reproductive health and stunting prevention, and 2,366 parents participated in activities addressing communication of behaviour change.
