Jakarta, 15 December 2023 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) has once again achieved recognition by receiving the ‘Gold’ award in the APAC Innovator of the Year category at the Qorus Reinvention Awards Asia Pacific 2023. This award highlights the company’s commitment to consistently undergo banking transformation and innovation that aligns with the needs of customers and the Indonesian people.
The award was given to BCA Vice President Director Armand W. Hartono, BCA EVP of Commercial & SME Freddy Iman, BCA SVP of Operation Strategy & Development Group Setiady Lo, and BCA VP of Learning & Development Division Mesha Yonatan in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Qorus Reinvention Awards Asia Pacific 2023 acknowledges innovation in financial institutions that are shaping the future of the financial industry in the Asia-Pacific region. The highlight of this award is the selection of the APAC Innovator of the Year. The winner of the APAC Innovator of the Year is chosen for their sustained innovation in advancing the banking sector, as well as their efforts to promote the use of technology to enhance consumer experiences and business performance.

BCA’s innovations recognized at the Qorus Reinvention Awards Asia Pacific 2023 encompass the ‘Tolak Dengan Anggun’ campaign, MSME financing facilitated by the Multipurpose Business Loan, and the ANDREA (Analysis of Fund Flow, Current Account, and Savings) loan eligibility assessment method. Most recently, BCA introduced the BCA Paylater feature in myBCA. This addition underscores BCA’s commitment to strengthening its digital ecosystem, following the introduction of various features such as the integration of wealth management features (WELMA), login with biometric technology, cardless transactions, and the “Pay and Top Up” feature.
