BCA Received an Award in Indonesia Champion AEC 2016 for Superiority in Marketing in ASEAN Economic Community Era

Jakarta, September 15, 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) received another appreciation for its hard work in corporate marketing facing ASEAN Economic Community. The recognition was given in form of an award, which was accepted during Indonesia Champion for AEC 2016.  The event was organized by MarkPlus Inc. in cooperation with Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing, as part of the 2nd ASEAN Marketing Summit.

Present to accept the award was BCA Director Santoso on September 15, 2016, in Jakarta. The award was given to a national company who was viewed as Indonesian Champion and possessed resilience in the face of ASEAN Economic Community.

“ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) era is no longer a foreign concept for Indonesian people. Companies are all doing various efforts in order to be the best. It is also the case for BCA, as we welcome the AEC through prioritizing technology based banking innovation for our customers. It is an honor for us that BCA’s hard work has been appreciated through the award we received today,” said Santoso.

Santoso added that BCA has been increasing its marketing quality through its infrastructure such as e-banking, mobile banking, and Internet banking. Thus, BCA’s position within the country is unshakeable in facing changes in the environment that are getting more practical and fast moving. Every products and services offered was packaged in ways to give convenience, in line with its customer’s modern lifestyle.

In addition to increasing innovation in corporate marketing, BCA is also focusing in domestic business strength. BCA chose to strengthen its position domestically through branches expansion and Human Resources development. Domestic business potential is still abundant and it’s important to maximize in order to be fully ready to face global competition.

“Corporate marketing is not the result of one person initiation, but a successful teamwork. The award is a representation of BCA’s success in our excellent marketing strategy following Indonesian trends. This ASEAN based award will give a new spirit to BCA’s big family to be able to work even harder to preserve our service quality,” he concluded.
