Jakarta, July 27, 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) marked its achievement at The Asian Banker Indonesia Country Awards, by receiving simultaneous awards as Best Retail Bank in Indonesia, Best Mortgage Business, and Best Mobile Payment Project. The awards were given to companies in the financial industry that have successfully developed retail service and banking technology for their customers.
BCA Consumer Card Senior General Head Manager Santoso, BCA Strategic Information Technology Group Executive Vice President Hermawan Thendean, and BCA Head of Consumer Credit Division Felicia M. Simon received the awards on July 27, 2016, in Jakarta. Award winners were judged using comprehensive and transparent assessment from The Asian Banker. The awarding ceremony was part of series of events that made up the Indonesia International Banking Convention hosted by The Asian Banker.
Santoso stated that the award represents an appreciation for BCA as a trusted national bank with successful financial retail service and banking technology for its customers. To this date, BCA strives to keep up with the development practical and rapid moving public needs. One such effort is the launch of e-money Sakuku in September 2015, and Sakuku Plus on BCA’s 59th Anniversary in February 2016. The services received Best Mobile Payment Project from The Asian Banker Indonesia Country Awards.

Up to the end of June 2016, BCA has facilitated financial transaction services for 14.8 million customers through 1,201 branches, 16.974 ATMs, and hundreds of thousands of EDCs along with the support of Internet banking and mobile banking.
