Jakarta, May 19th 2016 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) was recognized once again, this time as one of of the Top 20 Indonesia Most Admired Companies in 2016. This award is given to companies that maintained its position based on votes from employees and Economic News readers.
BCA Director Rudy Susanto received the award on May 19 2016 in Jakarta. Award winners were assessed based on desk research and quantitative assessment. Desk research was carried out by collecting financial statements from the third quarter of 2015 and other company reports reflecting company performance in 2015. Quantitative assessment was conducted through telephone survey of 5,000 respondents, comprised of employees of state enterprises, as well as local and foreign private companies in Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar.
The award represents appreciation for BCA, believed to be the ideal public company, Rudy explained. So far, BCA has sought to create a positive working environment to maintain the balance of life of employees and allow for self-development.
Included in the consideration are the company’s performance, as well as BCA’s overall performance and achievements, both from individual managers and the company as a whole. "Achievements and successful implementation of BCA’s business strategy relies on well-trained human resources. Contributions of employees at all levels of the organization is key to providing quality customer service to maintain solidity of BCA’s position amidst tight competition," Rudy continued.
