Providing Mutual Funds Solutions for Customers, BCA Named Best Custodian Bank

Jakarta, 8 May 2017 -  PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is committed to provide various banking solution services to its customers. One of its commitments is reflected through providing Mutual Fund solutions by acting as a Mutual Fund Sales Representative. The performance of BCA as a custodian bank that manages Mutual Fund assets has been appreciated when the bank received the Best Perform in Custodian Bank in Top Performing Mutual Fund and Consumer Choice Award 2017. The award was presented by Editor in Chief of Warta Ekonomi Muhammad Ihsan and the Founder of Warta Ekonomi Fadel Muhammad to Director of BCA Rudy Susanto at Le Meridien Hotel, Monday (08/05).

BCA recognizes today’s growing needs for investments, one of which is through the Mutual Fund, as a prospective alternative in the midst of the economies that tend to stagnate,” said Rudy.

Top Performing Mutual Fund and Consumer Choice Award 2017 was organized by Warta Ekonomi as a form of appreciation of the Best Performing Mutual Fund in the past 5 years, the Mutual Fund with the Best Net Assets Value in 2016, the Best Investment Manager Company, the Best Custodian Bank, and the Best Consumer Choice in Mutual Fund. The awards have been delivered through a quantitative research on the 1,600 mutual funds that have been registered and operated from 1 March - 17 April 2017. Based on the result of the research, BCA is appreciated as the best performing Custodian Bank in providing various products of Mutual Fund that fits customer’s risk profiles and investment objectives.

In the Mutual Fund transaction, BCA acts as a Mutual Fund Sales Representative, a party that sells Mutual Fund Securities as stipulated under the cooperation agreement and contract with the Investment Managers. Investors shall obtain explanation of the products and conduct purchase (subscription) & sale (redemption) transactions of Mutual Fund by visiting the nearest branch of BCA Solitaire and BCA Prioritas.
