This time, the recognition comes from The Asian Banker in The International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2017 for Best Retail Bank in Indonesia category.
Attending the event to receive the award was Executive Vice President of Commercial & SME Business of BCA, Liston Nainggolan, at the Shangri-la Hotel, Tokyo, Japan, Friday (17/03). The award has legitimized BCA’s status as the people’s top choice and key pillar to Indonesia’s economy.

The International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards 2017 is an award giving ceremony initiated by The Asian Banker for companies in retail banking sector that have successfully developed quality performance, products, and services amid the increasingly competitive market share. In determining the award’s recipients, a thorough research has been conducted to evaluate the performance of the 250 banking institutions in 42 countries, covering several criteria including: solid financial performance, transparency and accountability, dominant market share, and reliable risk management. Based on the research, BCA has been considered a solid retail banking institution capable of demonstrating profitable, sustainable, and long-standing business, with customer satisfaction as its top priority.

In 2016, BCA and its subsidiaries recorded solid financial performance with net profit growth of 14,4% or Rp 20.6 trillion, compared to Rp 18.0 trillion in 2015. The credit portfolio has increased by 7.3% and recorded at Rp 416 trillion, an achievement supported by corporate and consumer credit segment. “We dedicate this award and positive performance to BCA’s loyal customers, because our success has been partially dedicated by the customers’ trust in BCA banking solutions.
