Providing Continuous Product and Service Innovations, BCA Received Most Innovative Business Award

Jakarta, 24 February 2017 - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is always committed to continuously make innovations for its financial service and solutions in order to stay on top amid the highly competitive banking industry. BCA’s consistency in creating innovations has been appreciated when the bank received the “Most Innovative” award for Banking category in Most Innovative Business Award 2017. The award was presented by Director General of Foreign Trade of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, Oke Nurwan, the Founder of Warta Ekonomi, Fadel Muhammad, and Editor in Chief of Warta Ekonomi, Muhammad Ihsan, to Director of BCA Santoso at Pullman Hotel, Friday (24/2).

“Amid the Indonesia’s economic slowdown, BCA is demanded to grow stronger in improving its performance and the quality of banking products and services in order to survive the economic situation and increasingly competitive banking industry. The commitment to continuously technological innovations that allow customers to have quick, easy, safe, and convenient banking transactions is the key to success for BCA in staying on top of the Indonesian banking industry,” said Santoso.

Most Innovative Business Award 2017 was organized by Warta Ekonomi as a form of appreciation of the Indonesian industry players for the leading innovations that allow them to continuously develop and survive the highly competitive industry. The awards have been delivered through a desk research method, exploring several criteria including clearly defined vision and mission in the next 3-5 projected years, current implementation of strategies, products and services’ level of originality, decreased production cost, and improvement of company’s business performance which creates significant effects on the market. The assessment was based on four types of innovation: product and service, process, input, and marketing or business model innovations.

“Business innovation-oriented, BCA has always strived to improve, maintain, and enhance the quality of its banking products and services and create a value added not only for the customers, but also employees, shareholders, stakeholders, and people in general. We realize that innovations with comprehensive value added have helped us gain the trust of all the parties involved and earn the status of Indonesia’s leading private bank” added Santoso.

Exactly on 21 February, BCA has marked its 60th anniversary. Committed to Become Better in its 60th anniversary, BCA has recently launched several innovative products, including the New Paspor BCA, eBranch BCA, Halo BCA Chat, Vira (Virtual Assistant Chat Banking BCA). Not only that, BCA also offers some great anniversary promos, including a special house financing program with 2-year fixed 6.0% eff. p.a, and 3-year capped 6.88% eff.p.a in the subsequent years, and car financing with 3,60% interest rate for 36-month credit period.
