For the Seventh Time, BCA Wins International Awards at Asiamoney Awards

Singapore, 25 September 2019 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is always committed to implementing good governance by continuing to provide a variety of technological innovations that enable customers to perform a practical, secure and convenient banking transaction. BCA’s achievements as a dominant player in the market and Indonesia’s leading bank of choice have garnered recognition where it won two awards, namely the Best Domestic Bank and the Best Digital Bank at the Asiamoney Awards 2019.

Attending to receive the awards was Deputy President Director of BCA Armand W. Hartono accompanied by Head of BCA Regional Office XII Freddy Suliman and Head of BCA Regional Office V Enny Kamal in Singapore, Wednesday (25/09). Armand said that amid the highly competitive banking industry, BCA always strives to maintain a solid corporate fundament and improve capabilities in adapting to change in a dynamic business environment. Today’s massive digitalization also encourages the Bank to improve the quality of its digital-based banking products and services.

Armand added, of the 98% transactions at BCA are digital transactions. Of the total transactions in 2018 valued at Rp6,700 trillion, 98% of them were digital transactions. Almost all banking transactions at BCA can be performed digitally, such as our latest feature BCA Keyboard, which was launched on last February on BCA mobile. Since its first appearance, BCA has successfully gained 4,000 customers with a total of 12,000 applicants as of March 2019. 

The Asiamoney Awards, a subsidiary of Euromoney Institutional (Jersey) Limited, is a prestigious awarding event held as a form of appreciation for financial institutions in Asia Pacific that have recorded outstanding achievements throughout 2019. For its expertise in managing solid financial performance and create digital-based banking services, BCA was awarded the Best Domestic Bank and the Best Digital Bank.

BCA performs a digital transformation through its internet and mobile banking, and various applications, features, non-cash payment tools, such as Flazz BCA, Sakuku, and other features including QRku, OneKlik BCA, BCA Keyboard, and Opening Online Account. To connect with Halo BCA, BCA has also provided ease of communication that is implemented on a chat application, such as VIRA BCA, BCA Webchat, and BCA WhatsApp.
