Jakarta, 10 December 2020 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA)’s President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja named “The Most Influential Leader”, whose leadership and exemplary role in BCA served as an inspiration in economy and development. The recognition was named by CNBC Indonesia.
In a virtual video Jahja said that it is an honor for him personally and the entire BCA family as part of the national banking for being seen to have positive influence on the Indonesian people and economy.
As is known, CNBC Indonesia Award 2020 is an awarding event that recognize the performance of economic and business actors throughout 2020. The award is not only given to corporations or enterprises, but also to inspiring individuals in leading their companies. This year, the CNBC Indonesia Award 2020 bringing the theme "Welcoming the Rise of Indonesian Economy 2021".
On the same occasion last year, Jahja also won the Best CEO award. The two awards show that Jahja’s leadership and exemplary role at BCA have consistently become the source of inspiration for the company and business.
“The award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the BCA management and entire family that is spread across the nation. This was also achieved with the loyalty of BCA customers and support from all stakeholders namely the government, related authorities, and investors, especially in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic challenges since it began earlier this year,” explained Jahja.
For your information, amid the pandemic, BCA continues to encourage its customers to optimize the use of digital banking through #BankingFromHome. As of quarter III/2020, the value of BCA mobile transactions recorded a growth of 28.4% YoY and 4.1 % YoY for BCA’s internet banking. Transaction frequency for mobile banking and internet banking grew by 62% and 32% YoY.
