This time, BCA supports the 2020 Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW), which for the first time is being held virtually through Youtube channel of the Indonesia Fashion Week Official.
The Covid-19 pandemic does not hinder the 2020 IFW to take place. Attending the virtual press conferences of the 2020 IFW was Executive Vice President of Transaction Banking Business Development of BCA I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya on Monday (09/11). Meanwhile, the IFW 2020 will be held on Saturday (14/11) and Sunday (15/11), carrying the theme "Treasure of the Magnificent Borneo". Besides fashion show, the Virtual IFW 2020 will also present a fashion talk session bringing various fashion-related themes. BCA is here as the Official Bank Partner of the 2020 Virtual IFW.
“BCA’s participation in the Virtual Indonesia Fashion Week 2020 is an honor for BCA. As we know, the IFW is the biggest fashion week in Indonesia, which also promotes culture and empowers Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This resonates with BCA’s efforts to provide its continuous support for the MSME industry, especially the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic,” explained Ketut.
The Virtual IFW 2020 is an event organized by the Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs Association (APPMI). This program aims to support and invigorate fashion designers and MSME players in the field of fashion in developing entrepreneurial skills to grow in a sustainable way.
As a matter of information, in order to reach out to MSME players in Indonesia, BCA has launched the Bangga Lokal campaign. Through this program, BCA helps MSME players to develop their businesses in terms of marketing, promotion and venture capital. This program also serves as one of the BCA’s efforts to help save Indonesian economy amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Bangga Lokal Vol. 1 will take place on 13 November 2020 until 12 February 2021 in the Jabodetabek region. As for the Bangga Lokal Vol.2 will be held in the second quarter of 2021. On this occasion, BCA will invite more individual business players in Indonesia to participate.
“Through the 2020 Virtual IFW, we hope to be able to participate in introducing the beauty of Indonesia through fashion. We also hope that this event can inspire the MSME players to continue their creative and innovative works, which subsequently contribute to drive the Indonesian economy,” Ketut concluded.
