There have recently been a lot of fraudulent advertisements, purporting to be from BCA Credit Card or Paylater, being disseminated on social media. These spurious accounts have been inviting individuals to apply for BCA Paylater, apply for or upgrade their BCA credit card, and other such offerings.

From the false ads we’ve shown you above, the main goal of these scammers is to obtain your personal banking details. For instance, they may target your data to activate OneKlik on e-commerce and make unauthorized transactions to drain your money.
Tips to Avoid These Scams
To avoid scams like this, follow these tips.
- Verify the account. The official IG account of the Bank BCA is @GoodlifeBCA (Check all official BCA social media accounts here). If the information comes from an unclear source, it should be disregarded.
- Refrain from clicking on any buttons such as “Learn More” or “Sign Up”, when receiving content from an ambiguous source. These may redirect users to a fake BCA webpage or malware link.
- Confidential data, such as debit card/credit card number, PIN, CVV/CVC, OTP, etc., should never be shared carelessly.
If you encounter any fake BCA accounts on social media, immediately report them to the official BCA Instagram account (Direct Message to @GoodlifeBCA).
