The KeyBCA tokens are physical devices commonly used to authorize transactions made through web-based internet
banking, such as the myBCA website or KlikBCA. Now, with the KeyBCA application, transactions can be completed more
conveniently via smartphone.
The KeyBCA app serves the same purpose as the traditional KeyBCA token but offers additional features to enhance your
banking experience. For more details, see the app’s features and advantages below.
About the KeyBCA App
The KeyBCA app is designed to authorize both financial and non-financial transactions conducted through BCA internet
banking, including the myBCA website and KlikBCA. In addition to facilitating transactions, the KeyBCA app provides
an extra layer of security during these operations.
You can download the KeyBCA app from the Play Store for Android users or the App Store for iOS devices.
Features of the KeyBCA App
The KeyBCA application functions similarly to the KeyBCA token. It offers the following features:
- Transaction Approval/Authorization
This feature allows users to approve (using the KeyBCA application PIN) or reject transaction confirmations made
through the website versions of myBCA or KlikBCA.
- Approval History
Users can view their transaction history, which includes successfully approved transactions, unapproved
transactions,
and those that failed due to expiration, for the last six months.
- Generate APPLI-1 PIN:
Appli 1 is the code required to finalize the authorization of transactions on the web version of myBCA or
KlikBCA.
- Generate APPLI-2 PIN:
Appli 2 is the code required to confirm transaction authorization on the web version of myBCA or KlikBCA.
- Change PIN:
A feature to change the PIN in the KeyBCA app, which is used to log in to the application and also to finalize
transactions.
- Contact Halo BCA:
This feature enables customers to contact Halo BCA through various channels, including phone (with applicable
charges), Bank BCA’s official WhatsApp, email, and X (formerly Twitter) from the KeyBCA application login
page.
Before downloading the KeyBCA app through the Play Store or App Store, you need to register the KeyBCA app first
before it can be used. To use the e-Banking services, you must first register a mobile number from a domestic
provider. This can be done in advance at a BCA ATM or the nearest BCA branch.
For physical KeyBCA users, you can register the KeyBCA app by updating it on the web version of myBCA or KlikBCA.
How to Register the KeyBCA App via the Web Version of myBCA
- Log in to the web version of myBCA at mybca.bca.co.id
- Click the settings icon on the top right
- Select the Connect KeyBCA menu
- Select Change KeyBCA
- Select the e-Banking mobile number to be used and enter the APPLI-1 response from the physical
KeyBCA, then click Continue
- The KeyBCA application registration is successful, and proceed to download and activate the KeyBCA
app
How to Register the KeyBCA App via KlikBCA
- Log in to KlikBCA at https://ibank.klikbca.com/
- Select the Administration menu
- Select Change KeyBCA
- Select the e-banking mobile number to be used and enter the APPLI 1 response from physical KeyBCA,
then click Continue
- The KeyBCA application registration is successful, and proceed to download and activate the KeyBCA
app
Those who do not have a physical have a physical KeyBCA, they can register through eService at BCA branches
How to Register the KeyBCA App via eService
- Visit eService
- Select Mulai, select the Fasilitas Perbankan menu and then the
Registrasi Aplikasi KeyBCA sub-menu
- A prompt will appear, the KeyBCA app Info Produk and Disclaimer
that needs to be approved
- Verify your ATM card and enter the PIN on e-KTP reader device
- Select internet banking facility (myBCA or KlikBCA) that will be connected to the
KeyBCA app
- Select the e-banking mobile number to be used, click Lanjut
- The KeyBCA application registration is successful, and proceed to download and activate the KeyBCA
app
How to Activate the KeyBCA App
- Download the KeyBCA via the Play Store or App Store
- Open the KeyBCA app, click Set Up Now
- Enter your 16-digit ATM card number
- Review and agree to the KeyBCA Product & Service Information Summary and the KeyBCA Terms, then
click Next
- Verify by SMS*, click Next
- Create a 6-digit PIN that will be used to log in and approve transactions through the KeyBCA app
- Confirm PIN, click Next
- Verify yourself by taking a selfie, click Next
- Verify by entering the OTP code sent via SMS*
- KeyBCA app is ready to use
*make sure the connected number has sufficient balance to send and receive premium SMS

- Click the notification from the KeyBCA app
- Read the transaction details and click Approve to authorize transactions made

- Open the KeyBCA App
- Select Generate APPLI-1
- Enter the APPLI-1 code that appears on the web version of myBCA or KlikBCA

- Open the KeyBCA App
- Select Generate APPLI-2
- Enter the code that is generated from the web-version of myBCA or KlikBCA into the KeyBCA app

- Is there a fee for using the KeyBCA app?
There is no additional administration fee or monthly fee for using the KeyBCA app. However, there is
an
activation SMS fee and a fee for OTP (One-Time Password) SMS delivery, which are charged by the
operator
during the activation process.
- How is the KeyBCA application secured?
Access to the KeyBCA application is secured through a verification process that includes an
activation
via SMS, face recognition, and an OTP (One-Time Password) SMS. Additionally, both login and
transaction
authorization can only be completed using a 6-digit PIN created by the customer.
It’s important to note that if a customer shares personal banking information – such as
the
KeyBCA Application PIN, ATM card number or OTP SMS – during the activation process, the
application cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties due to the face recognition security feature.
However, if a customer shares their KeyBCA Application PIN after the application is active on their
device, unauthorized parties may be able to access the application from that device.
