BCA Facilitates 12 MSMEs Under Its Guidance to Break Through to the Global Market at TEI 2026, Potential Export Values Grow 34.12% YoY

Jakarta, 26 October 2026 – PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) continues to support Indonesia’s micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in expanding their market reach to the international level through the BCA MSME Go Export program. At the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026, held October 14–18, 2026, at ICE BSD City in Tangerang, Banten, BCA facilitated the participation of 12 MSMEs under the Bakti BCA mentorship program to introduce their flagship products to potential buyers from global markets.

During the expo, the BCA-mentored MSMEs’ participation in TEI 2026 resulted in 122 business matchmaking sessions and the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs), opening up business networking opportunities with 20 target countries. From these activities, the potential export value is estimated to reach USD 8.32 million or Rp148.75 billion. This potential represents a 34.12% increase from the previous year’s TEI achievement of Rp110.9 billion.

BCA EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility Hera F. Haryn, stated, “Indonesian SMEs possess the quality and potential to compete in the global market. Through the BCA UMKM Go Export program, we provide step-by-step support to business owners—from enhancing legal readiness, certification, and international product licensing, to creating company profiles and catalogs, all the way to expanding market access and connecting them with potential buyers. We hope that participation in TEI 2026 will open opportunities for sustainable cooperation and encourage even more Indonesian SMEs to enter the export market.”

The participation of 12 MSMEs in TEI 2026 is part of a series of capacity-building initiatives conducted prior to the exhibition. BCA began the process by curating 148 MSMEs under its mentorship program for the 2023–2025 period, then provided training through three online incubation classes covering product development and B2B export catalogs, strategies for price negotiation and sample orders, as well as simulations of export transactions and secure payments.

The selected MSMEs span two business sectors: food & beverages and agriculture. The range of products showcased includes coffee and cocoa, spices and natural ingredients, agricultural

products and seeds, dried noodles and instant noodles, sauces and seasonings, as well as plant-based foods and frozen foods.

During the exhibition, BCA set up a Bakti BCA booth to promote products and facilitate meetings with potential buyers, trade attachés, and representatives from the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC). BCA also provided a facility for signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to help open up opportunities for business collaboration.

In addition to expanding market access, BCA presented banking solutions to support the needs of export-oriented businesses, ranging from working capital financing and payments from abroad to other payment solutions. This support is expected to help business owners develop their business capacity while preparing for the transactional needs of international trade.

“For BCA, expanding market access must go hand in hand with business readiness and appropriate financial support. We hope that participation in TEI 2026 will serve as a first step for the MSMEs we mentor to follow up on business opportunities—from negotiations and orders to the actual realization of exports. BCA will continue to support the development of MSMEs through mentoring, market access, and banking solutions tailored to their business needs,” explained Hera.
